"It's bound to come out sooner or later, though I would rather it didn't end up splashed all over the entire department. Personally Cap'n I don't trust Tak as far as I can throw his extra large ass. I'll work with him but I'm not handing over our case to him, no way in hell. There is something slimy about him and I don't trust slimy. I don't know what it is and I don't want to touch him to find out, but trust me, the guy is bad news."
She wasn't sure about going to a fey revel especially with Chance's reaction to Miss Winters but in the same token she wasn't sure that Tak wasn't just as big a duck in the puddle as Max Logan. Maybe that was why they hadn't been able to catch the guy. Never could tell in this day and age and in this town.

Chance didn't dislike Arcadians. In fact, he had a great respect for them. But he did admit that he was perhaps a bit more affected by their glamour than most men.
He glanced at Rayvan and then back to Cord. "I don't think that Tak would deal well with the fae. He's too brusk and too annoying. The courtly thing I don't think will be his best showing." Chance had known Arcadians all his life. His father's work had seen to that. "Maybe we should take that one." He looked at Rayvan, wanting her input.

"Okay Chance its your call your the working top kick around these parts. So you don't trust Takanashita to behave himself. That I can see. Think we can corral this mess before we have the Wild hunt ride down us?"
The mere idea of it had Cord tallying the body count in the upper sixties. That would do nothing to engender the faintest of cooperation from the damn Arcadians or even City hall.

Rayvan nodded her agreement with Chance's thoughts on the matter. "I think that's for the best. We'll have to work quickly and try to figure out what the hell is going on or we're all gonna be in deep doodoo."
She didn't like the idea of going to a fey anything but in this case she really had no choice. It galled her really that Tak couldn't be trusted. She hated the idea that she couldn't even feel at ease among her own team.
