Oceans 6- the bear heist (heiro, tyler, vari, seth,dani, )

He ate the food as if he was starving, because he was. It felt as if he had not eaten in months. Maybe years. Of course, that was not true, as the bear was fed, but to Marco, at that moment, he was a completely different being. At least that was how he needed to think to keep the shift as it was. He looked to the one that spoke and he nodded softly. "You came to see me." He spoke between bites. "I know my name... Its Marco. I don't..." he brought his hand up to his head and winced, pressing the heel of his hand against his head as he fought back a headache. Trying to remember right now physically hurt. "That's all I remember..." He knew he needed time. He wasn't going to be able to fix his head enough to think much about anything just yet. When he was done eating he pushed the plate away and took the blanket that was offered, bowing his head to the one who brought it before pulling it over himself.

“Well that’s a good sign you have your memories if a bit jumbled. The most pertinent question is how do you feel?” His answer would be telling and he hoped Dani was quietly probing testing his shields as well. He didn’t show any outward signs of true lasting damage from being shifted as long as he ‘d been. But Hiero didn’t specifically remember him. He was familiar in a way but Benjamin and Jeremiah had a slew of bears in their Sleuth all those years ago. Most weren’t true fighters which was why things got as out of hand as they had.

Hiero was more worried about what damage could have been done to him and what steps they’d need to take to help him past them.

He wanted to laugh but was taken aback by the young mans words the worry over him" Seth I know many promises were made to you and I will not add to them but trust I know when people are trying to snow me, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but this the thing once lines are crossed they can never again try and fool me.. and heaven helps them if they have done something to hurt someone I care for and that now includes you."

He saw the body language and sighed but would not push" ok enough sappiness we are big tough dudes right? there is a bear downstairs can you tap into the school feed get a pic of him through the camera and do a search for him? Any mention even if its old we need to know who he is. Ill come back later or you can come down once its a bit ..lighter down there"

Standing he waited for a beat for the answer then headed back down all the stairs and was pleasantly surprised to find the large dark-haired male wrapped in a blanket speaking with the others. He paused to kiss Vari on the forehead" hows he doing mami?"

She felt him before he got back and fought the natural inclination to smile. She waited and sipped lettimg the conversation flow as it would. As Tyler entered she stood closing the distance between them bringing a few bites and a beer. He wasn't much of a drinker buy it was cold and even as successful as they were so far a little sustenance would go a long way.

"He's strangely alright. Foggy. But he remember the rex and me visiting. And his name. Well most of it at least. Marco meet Tyler the Ulfric. Tyler Marco formerly of the Sheds Aquarium."

"Consider it done boss man." He said as the stolen face recog option program searched Google and most social media sites. The ping was instantaneous. Though it brought a laugh to his lips.

Texting a screen shot to Tyler of the Bears MySpace page as he read it himself his smile disappeared. It read he was a widower. Damn.

Watching him curiously as he ate and then covered himself. Her thoughts were jumbled part of her was mouth dry the man was lean and cut and huge in a few ways. Tho he needed time and care not pawing and over stimulation. She unconsciously scooted closer to heiro as if to use his aura to calm her own heated thoughts. Seeming as if their night alone together had been while nice and innocent was also a bit of pot stirring.

Listening to what he remembered," time take your time we are just glad to have you out of there we can find out the who and why later and hopefully rip their insides out of them because who does that?"

She was remembering how they supposed he got there the spell work and power that would be required to hold him as a bear, " would a vampire be able to do that?.. like one who could call bears?"

“I’ve known a few that were able to trigger or hold off a shift never keep it as long as this…” He said in response to Carina. Noticing her closing the distance even more and strangely welcoming of it. So much so he absently wrapped an arm around her offering the warmth of his touch. Realizing they were technically still on the clock he decided to make a change in that program. Forcing himself to stand he said, “For now lets call it a night get Marco a chance to sleep without fur and do some research on our own. Dani I’d suggest you stay and keep him company its got to be a long time since Marco was in the company of Sleuth.” Smiling to soften his statement which while stated plainly was just a suggestion. He didn’t want Tyler or Varina or any of the other leaders thinking he was taking the reins. He wasn’t though it was a stressful night and he was sure they all were coming down from their adrenaline and metaphysical highs.

Bed or at least some resting and relaxing would definitely be in order. They’d reached the end of the beginning the hard part was yet to begin. Sussing out how much damage was done and what they could do to help him come back to himself. Though the bulk of that heavy lifting would be on Dani. They’d surely help. Offering his hand to Cari to help her up as well as get her home and settled.

He listened to the run down wincing softly he forwarded the text with the myspace to heiro vari carina and dani. They all knew what he did now but he wouldn't pick.

Agreeing dani should run point on this and seeing it was evident that at least two of the group were leaving for the night. He smirked elbowing vari gently as in a you ready? Slash hey check them out gesture." Well Marco it was good to meet you if you need any further help the pack will aid. Im sure the pride and pard feel the same..right?"

Looking to the others. Then realizing " I'm tyler by the way not sure if every one introduced them selves and this is verina"

They were being thankfully patient with him and when the lion asked how he felt he tried to quantify how to word the angry buzzing bees in his mind that kept most of what he had known hidden away from him. His beast was still there but now firmly behind a wall of thin ice as he didn't want it tempted to break for the surface. After they rebuilt their trust then hed lower the wall but for now." fuzzy very .off.. hard to form words a bit almost like i ..forgot them too"

He had communicated solely through body language roars and other animal noises for nine years anyone would forget human speech he thought. It was almost a relearning of who he was, watching as the other face he remembered came back he nodded to the man in greeting clutching the towel tighter as the small leopard lady scooted away and was then cared for by the lion. He mulled that, probably something he would find out later but for now he needed to focus on his own state of being and the other bear in the room was as of yet mostly silent.

Glancing to her for anything, some direction or assurance, tho the others seemed to offer it readily which he appreciated. They had already done so much for him. He was grateful but a bit sad because there was a lot of himself that seemed just out of reach. Like his last human memory, he remembered a face one he saw often over the years after he was in the exhibit and it was odd because he remembered that face somehow from before even then." I will stay, are their maybe clothes? I don't suppose the world has changed enough for me to ..be naked everywhere."

His attempt at a smile still bordered on snarly and he was sure his beard and hair were a frightful mad mess. It was way longer than he had worn it ever he was sure. nine years of no haircuts or shaving. He would also like a warm shower that occured to him as most of the water in the exhibit save in the summer had been incredibly cold.

Dani had been checking him out as everyone else spoke and otherwise asked their questions of what he could or couldn't remember. No she hadn't been eyeing him like a piece of candy even if he was easy on the eyes. No she had been using metaphysics as both an alpha bear and the sleuths leader to watch and hopefully better understand the inside of him.

She was tired no doubt as she continued to keep an eye on him. Feeling drained herself she wasn't being forceful by any means, simply a presence that measured his thoughts and such. Mainly she was waiting to see if his bear would reassert himself. When it appeared that wouldn't happen she did breathe a sigh of relief for small favors and finally backed off more fully. She couldn't drain herself completely.

She figured for the night the hard stuff was over hopefully and after everyone else left she would call in reinforcements. Mainly a bear or two he would hopefully recognize. He needed the comfort of the sleuth and while she was he didn't know her which could cause a problem depending on him.

Looking around at the others as they all prepared to leave. Looking at Hiero for a minute as he helped Cari she said "yeah I'll stay the night. I'm going to call a few others to come here, no more than 2 I'd say." She didn't want to overwhelm him on his first night. But with her staying she was going to have to let Ray know she wouldn't be home for the night at the least.
