Oceans 6- the bear heist (heiro, tyler, vari, seth,dani, )

Settling back in he had to admit the itch was there. He wanted to know who else was in the system. He couldn't spare the focus to hunt them down. Well he could nut the risk was super high. One of Tyler's rules was don't get caught. He was so tempted to toe that line. Set up a proxy watch from safe firewall and track the attack back to its host.

But...there was a chance that whoever was snooping was as or more skilled and would sniff the trap. Then it's be really on. The temptation was super high yet he managed to keep from acting on it. He instead texted Holly. 'Wyd?'

He was checking and rechecking the bear. Vitals watched, respiratory monitored. Feeling for his items so that they could do this methodically. Near memorizing camera position and map of lay out down to the number of steps from gate to habitat back entrance to bear pen.

Most large creatures even smaller ones were not left out at night even whales and dolphins had holding tanks they were released from. That was good because if they had needed to go in to a display and catch him that could have gone horribly wrong.


It still could and a tiny part of his brain stuck on the extra eyes on them. No one but them knew save the master and his second banana. Maybe heiros contact as well but they hadnt told him what the bear was for they could have been wanting a mount for posed pictures

No he didn't want to think that way either. The bear shifted in sleep and he bout had a heartattack. Snapping out of it to adjust the dose they didnt need much longer. Then he could wake and be fed from behind the bars of his new enclosure.

Vari smirked looking Dani dead on as she made her suggestion. Nodding she smiled saying, “Take a look around. It’s a school but there are functions that’ve been held I will find something to sip on.”



It was a surprisingly easy finding some things to fit the bill. The beer was simple domestic but thanks to the full kitchen the crudité platter she carried back would make most fine dining restaurants rage quit.



"Ask and you shall." She said with a smile as she re-entered the subbasement. She wouldn’t let on that she almost dropped everything twice. They would have to widen the stairs in the library somehow without making it less secretive. She caught Dani looking around. She smirked, the first time Tyler showed her around she was agog as well.



Pulling over two rolling chairs she set the tray and the beers on top of an analysis table. “Have you been here before Dani?" She asked working her way mentally around to the ‘restraint equipment’ the rex had sent over this morning which was further down the area in one of the other suites. She was working towards asking about Sabin and why that Kashayapa had such equipment.

All too soon they were backing the van to the gate and she was getting out. Using her duped key pass to get them in she had Heiro back in a bit more till they were under the overhang of the building which was oddly enough a cam blind spot. They would see the front of the van and its doors but not the back of it. So far so good she walked around seeing the man that was supposed to be leaving come out to see who they were" I need to check the polar bear guest have been complaining hes been acting strangely so we thought we would take a look"

Smiling softly made up credentials shown. He actually looked at them close for a moment but they were so well made that eventually, he nodded asking that she hurry a bit because he needed to leave soon" Oh we will try to be fast just a couple blood samples to make sure nothing brewing. Thanks, Jake you are a doll"

When he went back into the building she sighed and nodded to Tyler to get out and to the bear to put him out so they could get this one in fast and swap them.

Carina in action was a testament to a natural criminality. She spent so much time dealing with customers that she was a natural at it. He chuckled as he kept from looking towards the camera and minimizing his profile as much
as possible by turning some in his seat.

Looking to Tyler he nodded they were on or more specifically he was. Seating the bear while not physically the trickiest was the second most fraught and first major milestone of the heist. If he was off by the smallest portion the bear could respond like some did to anaesthesia blacked out but very much physically active.

Nodding her head she took her time looking around as Vari went off to get drinks and food. She was decidedly jealous of some of the equipment and found several pieces that would have been helpful during past emergencies. The sleuth basically had everything they needed at home but this place was ridiculous.

She had actually been eyeing some of the finer tools when she walked back in laden with stuff. Looking over she grinned at the platter that looked as if it was overflowing.

Making her way back over she took a beer and opened it before taking a sip for the moment. Looking over the plate she nabbed a few things before taking a seat to wait it out. "Believe me if I'd been here before I wouldn't still be mentally drooling over some of the bits and pieces we don't have that I'd love to have." Shrugging a bit she added "we have just about everything we need at the house in the basement and generally more then enough room to house the lycans that need our help." Just to give Vari an idea as to how things had been going for a while.

He moved quickly out to the entrance and sniffing found his way to the shifter. This was the part that worried him he was hoping the bear man wouldn't react badly. He spoke low and calming the best he could to the now visibly irritated polar bear. It had come right to the cage doors and was swatting them to chase him away. He kept trying" please we don't want to hurt you I promise brother we are here to aid you. We are here to free you from this life stuck"

his voice low they knew the cameras were visual only and wouldn't pick up his voice were only in the hall. Darting in fast as there was a swipe taken the dart to knock him out stuck in. In quick succession, he paused between to stagger them long enough to start the iv. As the shifter rattled the bars then backed up staggering. Dropping like a stone Tyler rushed in with the key pas and found a vein to hook the special iv into. He called back out to carina who had followed him in" go get the other bear we need the stretcher got five minutes to do this before the new guard gets here"

As he sat his phone down he went back to data mining the Shedd for all it was worth. He was getting was just fun factor as he kept an eye on the cameras insuring the ID’s of the alphas on site stayed unknown. He snorted coffee as Carina looked toward the camera her face that of a pink clown like pixie.

He was brought up short as one of the deep alarms he set-up was tripped. It was one of the many he set up as a just in case and it was tripped. He sighed quickly and got down to business. He trailed by connected through several pay to play FB game networks. Funny how eponymous those things were. As well as easily compromised. He kept one eye on the happenings in the Shedd and the other on the path of trips of whoever was surfing one of is data streams.

One handed texting Tyler to kill the lights as a guard was leaving their post for a tour.

Soon as Carina saw the bear go down she went for the van and signaled Heiro to help her get the other bear in. Once they hefted him up and out on the stretcher they got him in just in time to hear Tyler's phone go off. Cursing softly they slid one bear off gently and got their shifter loaded. Tyler and Heiro would have to go back with him since Tyler was holding the iv bag keeping him out.

She shooed them and watched them take the bear out to the van and she took the vial that Ty had left her in the enclosure to wake up the sleeping real bear. She gave it fast as she could toss him meat to find when he woke and shut the cage in time to hear the new guard. She used her shifter speed to head him off before he could get back and see the just waking bear. She smiled up at Ron the new guard" He seems to be sleeping ok and was a bit agitated but we will get the test results back to you guys as soon as possible"

Keeping him engaged to give the real bear time enough to wake up her hearing told her what she needed" Well I better let you get back to your rounds night Ron"

He seemed confused to find her there but the uniform and credentials and explanation covered her mostly. He shook his head stepped around her and headed down the line. She frowned and headed for the back of the van getting in"Let's go now, please Ive got a bad feeling"

Hiero and Tyler strangely suited to the task as they moved with a synchronicity of pace. Quick but not jostling to the chemically sleeping Polar sleuth. He was out yes but as soon as his body absorbed the drugs and got used to it he’d be up and running. Hopefully not literally. The van was a good facsimile, but it was not armored to withstand a brain fried lycanthropes actions. So, fingers crossed they loaded him in. Tyler would have to again ride in the back to monitor. Hiero hopped in and waited just long enough for Cari to get back and into the van then took off. He was sure Tyler had calculated correctly but by the same token he’d feel better if they got back to the school quickly enough to not have to worry and could have him strapped down where the risk of him hurting himself or one of them could be mitigated.
