Saphyre was awake. She’d come fully awake when he started moving. She sat up rubbing at her eyes as Kusa pulled away. She really wasn’t a morning person. She stood slowly holding onto the wall for support, her hair shifting its own waves to cover, but at the same time just not quite. She didn’t pay any mind to Kusa’s body but looked into his face.
She mumbled something not entirely intelligible, and waved to him to follow. They weren’t all that far from their things. She led him back to that overly dim barely there light. She yawned. She would much rather be asleep right now. She had kept her eyes mostly closed she didn’t need them to find her things. She knew these tunnels better then anyone every full moon she would come through these her things left at the same location every time. She operated at this point as though she was on auto pilot.
It only took a few minutes of walking but they were back where they had started the night. There was Kusa’s yellow bag and Saphyre’s. Their clothes that didn’t exactly survive the night were scattered along the floor of the mouth of the tunnel.
Saphyre went to her own bag and turned of the barely there light. That was even to much for her this early. She yawned again. She opened her bag and pulled out a gray camisole and a pair of old and worn jeans. She started dressing pulling the shirt over her head and settling it into place then she pulled on her jeans. She found her worn out sneaks and slid her feet back into them.
She moved to the remains of her clothes and picked them up she found Kusa’s while she was at it and gathered them up as well. Moving back to her bag since it was now empty she put the ruined clothes into the pack. She rubbed her eyes brushing the rest of the sleep out of them. No she still wasn’t awake. But she wasn’t a grouchy person in the mornings she was just a little more lethargic after the full moon.
Finally she actually spoke. “Come on Kusa, we’ll go back to my place and there we can either go back to sleep after getting cleaned up and getting some food. Or we could just relax the day away and hang out.” She yawned at the end of the statement.
