As of yesterday morning this paper was the recipient of yet another 'Package' of grisly design. The 'package' in question has since made the rounds of the internet and as such it is this papers responsibility to inform the public. In accordance with local authorities wishes this publication will release the information in as nonsensational manner as possible.
The morning of **/**/2009 a letter was delivered to each section editor as well as the editor in chief of this publication. A transcription of the letter will follow in the hopes that some citizen might step forward with useful information regarding the author of said letter. Along with the letter of such unbearable grimness the paper was in receipt of several pieces of biological matter that authorities confirm as once having belonged to an as of yet unidentified homicide victim found within the Art Institute of Chicago's newly completed modern art wing several months prior.
We in advance apologize to our readers for such charnel news. However in an effort to fully aid and assist the Chicago police in capturing the source of such crimes we must utilize every means at our disposal.
"I have taken leave of you and yet you continue on in a manner that makes you all my prey. You have ignored the monster within your midst and so I will have to punish you. Severely. As a sign of my willingness to wound the very heart of your city in this bid for the Olympics I submit a small trophy to prove that I have killed before and will do so again.
I am no speck of dirt to be ignored you will fear me. The leash has been slipped and the deaths are on your head for not having captured me last time. I know now that I am truly around the bend. I am done playing the part of big man about town. I am what I was meant to be a monster.
Your police will not protect you. Your Alphas will not protect you. No one can save you. I will come for you all. And as the last scream of this pathetic city goes silent I will stand laughing at how easy it was and thank you for your help in becoming what I always was. "
