Rayvan's next part of the test she knew she would have no problem with, the range test. She was a dead shot, always had been. The trick to this part of the test thought wasn't always being a dead shot, it was being able to pick out the bad guys form the good guys as well as being able to shot. Split second thinking along with accuracy was what was needed in this line of work, so she would have to show her ability to do just that.
She wasn't sure however whether she had to wait for the written test to be graded before she moved on so she stood by quietly until she was given the go ahead from the Lady Proctor.

Rayvan went through and finished the rest of the testing. She thought she had done well but one could never be sure. Once she was finished she returned to the squad room, to await the results from the Lady Proctor. She sat at her desk and fiddled with a paper clip, Bending it back and forth until it snapped in two.
She sighed and decided to try and do some paperwork to try and take her mind off the test. She didn't think it would work but she had to try. She shuffled through her paper strewn desk, looking blindly at the wrinkled and incomprehensible writing that blurred before her eyes.

Tak came around to the trainees that just finished the test. "Good job everybody. Hope to see you at work tomorrow." He gave a glance to Rayvn. "Good job I'll see you in the field."
Tak walked out the room. He had enough encouragement giving for one day. Hopefully more then one person had talent. RPIT would need it all.

Cord looked over the results of the test. He was dismally disappointed of the twenty trainees that took the exam only three had passed with sufficient marks on the written portion of the exam. It was a shocking disparity to the outcome of the physical aptitude portion. Marksmanship fifteen met the ninetieth percentile necessary to pass. The fortitudinal spectrum test eighteen passed with respectable averages. The visual acuity eleven were able to tell the telltale differences that could keep them from being some perps lunch. yet all of the other tests only bore a fifteen percent impact on the outcome. Which meant of the twenty only three were eligible to join RPIT. Of the three only only one had the necessary qualifications to make detective grade. The others would be at best patrol level officers which was not all that helpful to him at this juncture.
Sighing he thanked the proctor for having given him an early glimpse pf the results. I would be two weeks before any of the trainees knew what was the outcome of their tests. In the interim they would serve in whatever capacity they could before most became disillusioned and quit. Damn. At least the filing would be done.
Waiting until nearly the entire lot filed out hopeful or despondent based on how well they thought they did Cord pulled Rayvan to the side. " Can I see you in my office in twenty minutes Wolfbaen. Its important. Thank you."
Having made his overture Cord left to pull a few strings and expedite Wolfbaens installment on the staff.

Rayvan wasn't entirely sure why Tak was taking such an interest in her but it was a bit disconcerting really. He seemed inordinately interested in her testing and becoming part of the RPIT team. It had Rayvan frowning slightly as she nodded and answered him, "See you out there I'm sure."
Rayvan watched Cord go over the test scores without actually being overt about it. She knew she had passed, she just did. All she needed was confirmation, she wondered if Cord would make her wait like all the others or if he would give her the inside scoop. She hoped it was the latter, she had a case to finish and a job to do.
She was just heading out the door with all the others when Cord pulled her off to the side and gave her the 'summons' to his office. She had a brief moment of panic, wondering if her confidence was too great and she had indeed not passed the test. "Alright, boss be there in twenty."
