My dearest Master Aeolas,
I apologize if the familiar opening catches you unassuming as such. However for me the title is well earned. It would be dishonest were I to use any but such a warm greeting. Especially for one who so many years removed form now was so formative in the making of myself. Your visit through the small hamlet of Dinan was as if for the first time the sun itself shown on our humble domain. The Chevalier was beside himself with joy savage though his aims were. And I a humble newly risen traveler felt as if I were beheld by the finest the courts had to offer. My newly risen senses besotted with the very look of you your everyday finery and meticulous manners. You created quite a space of besotment within even myself created as I was as punishment for familial crimes.
I digress forgive me... You are a master of note. News of your city has traveled the world. I would love most fervently the opportunity to set eyes once more upon you. To take in what your city has to offer. To prove some value to what it is you have created. As I am currently seeking a place to alight a place to create another sanctuary from my travels I would wish it to be within your demesnes. I would wish it in your city and Kiss. After all while it may have simply been a visit to the country side for you yet another blue-eyed beauty of Belle's for my it was foundational. Four-hundred years has been far too long.
Yours sincerely, Corauni Vadoma

Alexandras had busied herself inordinately she not only spot checked every facet of Aeolas’ business but the maintenance of his house as well. One singular whole hat ran in time to the internal clock of his needs, whims, and wants. She analyzed him his dealings and how best to increase either their profitability or his pleasure in them. He was very discerning a man unlike any she had previously known or any she was sure to meet again. The admonishment of Gates during her and Lissa’s visit during Mardi Gras spurred her on. It was a prod that she couldn’t bear nor ignore.
As such she bore it as one would a flag of war. She held it aloft and before her guiding her way. She had to be better. She had to find the limits of her potential and she had to surpass that line. Sitting at her desk she looked over the vellum envelope sealed with blood tinted wax. The scent was not one any vampire could ignore. It was heady, filling the space with its presence. She looked at the dated emblazoned upon it in a light flowing scrawl that said old, feminine and old. She didn’t like it one bit. Nor did she like that it arrived via courier from France. That she had been told was the domain of not only Belle Morte herself, but also the European Councils. It sent a chill down her spine.
She looked once more at the return address : Place de la Victoire, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand, France. Doing a quick search she was appalled that it was a cathedral. A well known one at that. Restraining her anger she paused every other task. Rising she carried the letter in to Aeolas holding it as if it were an enemy waiting to be dealt with.
“I am sorry to disturb you Aeolas however this seems to be a matter needing your attention.”

He was quietly contemplating moves he could help the nest make to grow and prosper he still had not taken one of the two as his. it was delicate and he wanted to let them decide enough on there own so it wasn't totally on him. As Alex came inefficient as always he looked to her brow hiked in curiosity hand out for the missive.
It felt familiar the paper and then looking at the handwriting already brought a frown. One that didn't clear when he saw who it was from transported mentally back to a small chateau in the local of Dinan Belle and her retinue minus asher and jean who had other things to do then had graced the man who owed his mistress a favor of some sort he didn't care to at the time know.
They had swept in like the vampire royalty they were and he the foolish imperious spoiled boy aristocrat he was. He had taken it all for granted and probably..no most definitely had abused his privilege. Making sport of the servants in the home. One, in particular, had softened him slightly with her sweet demeanour and he couldn't bring it to his heart to abuse her to heartily. Tho for her own safety he would never seem to show favour around belle because even then he knew what she'd do if any woman held attention to detriment of hers with her pets. So he had just avoided her to the best of her ability despite the master of the houses repeat attempt to offer her all but shoving her into his bed.
He had reacted badly and unable to help his ire back then had taken it out on her. giving in to his baser urges and putting her body through hell until she was near death but never a drop of her blood taken. Leaving her at her master's chamber doors broken near thoroughly as a message and then hiding with belle until they left the next night. He got punished for it for a week starved and shunned for making her look off with a pawn she wanted. He took his fate and made it to the other side but it made him colder. For the rest of his time with Belle, he was cold and near dispassionate with her schemes and machinations. Doing only the minimum to what would keep him alive when asked.
So now she had sought him out after all these centuries and he was both alarmed and irritated. Curious but concerned. Coming back to himself from the death-like stillness that vampires got on occasion he sighed" write a reply for me that I will set her u with a suite and we will have meals and catch up if she pleases but that I will brook no shenanigans on penalty of death"

Alexandras read every detail of Aeolas as he considered the letter. It made her angry at this interloper. Though that was her default setting for anyone that threatened what was hers. And while she was highly proud of her position within his Kiss she considered him hers. He was her Master. He was her liege. She was a servant to his lead and prouder for it. She due Gates far-sightedness had been sent to the only place one such as she could ever have the chance to grow.
As such when Aeolas went o that far off place masters went when they entered that stillness she immediately began laying plans in her head. She knew what Corauni Vadoma was. She was one of the most esteemed information brokers in the courts of the Kiss. While all feared the coming of Harlequin and their agents she was the whisper that presaged the fall of cities. She unlike the Harlequin worked for hire. She was a ghost who held no allegiance and flag. A great tool to use and one if controlled would be a scalpel that could lance away any cancer or illness in that could cause a kingdom to fall.
That self-same invisibility could in the end be used against her. She had no roots no place to call home no safe haven that could not be taken from her. Plans percolated in her head searching out a way to insure Corauni Vadoma would be nothing if Aeolas wished it so. Death really was too good for her in Alexandras view point.
“Of course.” She said in response backing out of the office as was her way.
She sat and immediately began typing a letter that was almost the immediate opposite of her flowery flowing handwritten prose.
To: Corauni Vadoma
Fr: The Office of Aeolas
Master of Chicago
A suite has been prepared for you. You are welcomed for a meal and conversation in regards to your inclusion into the Chicago Kiss. Your safety and comfort will of course fall to the Kiss. As will any restitution pertaining to any infraction of decorum.
She looked at the letter attaching several available dates to receive Ms. Vadoma and had the letter sent.

Corauni received the missive as one might a potential bomb. She cleared her office here the Cathedral and prepared before opening it by satiating her nights thirst. Once slaked she moved back into her office sealing herself in.
Inhaling she braved herself and opened the all but colorlessly professional envelope.. She was greatly annoyed at the clearly lacking in any presentation. The message was clear in the perfunctory nature of the letter.
She read it twice finally balling it into a crumpled mess. When that proved less than cathartic she uncrumpled it and tore it into countless shreds.
Sighing at the wreck of it all she composed an equally dismissively business oriented real lay confirming her date of arrival as well as her thanks for such a quick reply.

Her reply revived he planned. The cheif would work up a menu for them of mock tasters that were french in feeling. He would have the mood set to a French bistro, and make sure to have gorgeous flowers.
He would wear his second best cut suit and get a full spa treatment hair trim and mani/pedi. This was how he prepared for battle as it were. To go in looking heartstopping, even all but the straightest of men would pay him mind. That made him confident and pleased so that when the time finally arrived she would be hard pressed to think clearly.
If he got what he wished she would enjoy ger time but not enough to want to stay and woukd consider it a successful visit withour seeing any more than the inside of one of his nicer suites and the resturant.

Corauni has built her network predicated in never being what was expected. Her first few years had taught her to be ever ready. To know danger could and would arise even from the face and lips of an angel. Such began her life amongst the undead. She luckily was a very good student. She quickly became the youngest master of her litter as she liked to think of the vampires created within fifty years of her airing.
As much as things changed they remained. She’s been able to exploit the beliefs systems and expectations far in excess of her age and power because of such. She had many thanks to offer for her education and her standing in the world. As well as the many of belies clamoring for a chance to end her business, life, and Emanuel successes.
As such not only did she wish to be end her time in relative position file from vampire society as a whole but she needed to find a safe city from which to come nduct her affairs. And while fortified there was only a matter of time before the remnants of the harlequin or some other agents were successful in their attempts.
She’d already prepared he departure through various back channels and intermediaries. She would arrive in New Jersey via air drop. Her lodgings a very comfortable refitted shipping container. From New Jersey she would travel by ground to South Carolina where several changes in conveyance would have her in a refitted ambulance. From there she would again switch several conveyances in Missouri before travelling the last leg in an armored convoy. She would arrive in Rockford where lodgings had been arranged years prior. She had many such safe houses purchased through proxy around the world. Always near major airports surrounded by minor regional airports, highways and various means of transportation.
She had learned to be prepared and exploit many loopholes namely as she owned the Umbrella shelf company but remained hands off the various smaller companies her hands were invisible and unseen.
As such she also arrived at the Anastasios fashionably each lay dressed impeccably in a faux haute black dress. It was tailored to show off her physicality as well as femininity. Short enough to see she hid no weapons. Just long enough to invite many lewd thoughts about what could be hidden. Her charcoal clutch deliciously small and yet drew the eye it’s pattern of various differing shades of charcoal. Her stilettos threateningly sharp and teasing. In short she was dressed up to either dance done or dominate a gathering.
The letter clear she had her security team remain outside of the building proper. She was sure the twenty man team that made her entourage had caught many an eye. It’s message clear should she have needed security she could provide. But more importantly she was throwing her lot in with Aeolas.
She meant to become part of his Kiss. He had wrangles some control here in the city. He had managed a bloodless coup. He had become world renowned. In short he had become nearly unassailable by both the American and European Councils.
