It had only been maybe a day since she arrived, got herself settled and was looking to explore a little. So far Chicago didn't seem all that different, but she knew things could change once she began looking around, getting use to what all was here and accessible to her, where she could go and things to do. Which would take time, like it had in all of her homes. Just with this city, this city was were she was going to establish her clan. Ventus ascensores which was a fitting name really and she always seemed to have this smirk on her face whenever she thought about it.
Ceinwen knew what she want, she wanted a clan, she wanted to be the Dynast and she wanted it here. Though since arriving, she'd not senses others like herself, but of course given they were in a different world than the lycanthropes, vampires even the fae, it had to be handled more carefully than those other groups probably handled their own. While some of them might be more open, the Weyr didn't have that luxury for their kind, besides she'd not lived this long to have her freedom, her life destroyed because of stupidity. Ceinwen wasn't stupid, nor was she a fool, she was cautious, careful, calculated and was going to figure this out carefully.
First, however, she was going to take in what was to be one of the largest art museums in the U.S and given she herself was an artist, that was where she was heading today. Dressed how she normally would be seen, in something that could only accent her natural beauty, her heavenly, gifted body for all to admire and adore. Well the side of her that relished the attention that is. So it was she came to be seen wearting darkwash, form-fitted jeans that really didn't leave a damn thing to the imagination as they hugged to her curves, the contours of her legs and thighs before coming to rest over her black leather boot clad feet. Her upper torso, well it was baring witness to the equally, stunning blood red corset inspired top. It was long sleeves, made of velvet so it was actually warmer than one might imagine. It dipped in a v along her bosom, giving off the view, but not being too overly dramatic for the day.
As she moved the sleeves swayed like bells and came to rest down over her slender hands, as she draped the dark red coat over her arm, slowly deciding in which direction she wanted to go first once she entered. That atmosphere was something she could relate too and it made her smile as she slowly proceeded towards the first exhibits, not really caring in which direction, order honestly it was done. Just so long as she might enjoy this.

As a child Jane had always gotten into a heaping amount of trouble due to her penchant to go missing. She’d just up and disappear for a few hours or as she got into her later teens early adult life days or weeks at a time. She was getting that itch to take to the wind. To get lost to see something new. She was trying to not just take-off but the sad truth even hanging with Lexi hadn’t helped to stop the feeling from growing. She was however now more afraid to do so. After the situation with the house and even Nat not standing with her she was unsure if she could actually bring herself to go and worse what might happen if Nat wasn’t shortly behind her arrival.
The idea that she couldn’t share was the idea of being anywhere without Nat was even more scary than staying put. Nat could be fierce. Nat was her guardian angel and lucky piece. Sighing away the thought as she paid her entrance fee she looked at the map finding herself standing in front of a Degas admiring it eve as the map had informed this was to be a Manet. Se sneezed at the strange scent. It was just familiar enough that it didn’t take long to pass it. It was the same sort of smell that hung in the air the night Hieronymous almost died. She looked around not really a detective or all that adept at sensing the out of place. She tried all the same. She didn’t spot anyone that looked like Pierce Brosnan from that old movie so no jewel thieves or spies were in the area. She also looked for the cast of Leverage and no Parker-types. Actually walked over to the Platinum blonde and asked as a come on to talk with her, “Would you happen, to know the time?”

She wasn't one to really pay attention to others around, more a person that kept to herself unless it was needed otherwise. Besides she'd come to the museum to just enjoy a day for herself and see if this city had anything worth wild really. Lightly licking her lips as she examined the first exhibit, allowing her eyes to move over the piece with that technical eye. Taking in the detail the created used, her head slightly tilting to the side briefly, before reaching to push back some hair out of her face. Those white locks so unique and rare naturally, that she was stared at alot, but ignored it like she did most people. Especially now adays given she'd been around for a long time. Somethings just got old after the first century or two.
So of course, at first she didn't realize the voice speaking was directed at her. Finally pulling her eyes from the exhibit, she turned her head, blinking those blue eyes, as the green and brown swirled some around the iris. The words clicking the woman was asking about the time and Ceinwen exhaled a little softly, lifting up her arm and brusing back the sleeves to see what her watch actually said. Having not really cared about the time, but now that it was brought up she was a little curious. "Just a little after one." Lifting her gaze once more and gave the woman a soft smile, the faint hint of feline brushing against her nose and she took a brief looking over woman. Knowing that her own scent wasn't as easily if at all which for her species was probably for the best.

There were every few things to do when being ignored. Either passively or actively. Take offense or not Janey tried to take as little offense as possible however between the hot blood of her familial and the demanding nature of her beast it was almost impossible to not. She however didn’t have to act on her feelings. She admitted to being a slow learner yet a learner all the same she’d made enough mistakes flying off the handle. So sighing calming herself as best as she was able she forced a smile. “Oh okay, Thank you. I’m Jane you are?” She said offering her hand.
“I didn’t really care about the time I was just using it as an excuse to talk to you. But if you want to be left alone I’ll go fuck off.” Whoops that Binns anger was still there at least it was not directed and making her alienate someone in this day and age most people wouldn’t even care about a little profanity.

Ceinwen watched the lioness as she remained there, blinking a little when she introduced herself and cocked her head. Seeing the hand was a little taken aback. Before she explained that she'd used the excuse on time to come over and was actually amused a little by this. Reaching up and brushing some hair out of her face. "Hello Jane. Ceinwen." Reaching to take her hand and shaking it, letting go after a moment and shook her head. "Not at all. Was just not expecting that, so why did you want an excuse to come over and talk with me?"
Tilting her head some curiously and wondering what the reason would be. Though for a lioness she was attractive, but Ceinwen didn't start jumping, glancing at the exhibit a moment while waiting to hear what Jane was going to say.

"Ceinwen is a... Well its not a name you hear everyday. Well of course I’m sure you hear it everyday it is your name after all. So really I don’t hear it everyday and why would I really when you think about it its not my name. So anyway I came over because you’re not a bad looker and you smell similar to someone. So I was curious." Squinting at the fact she’d just verbal diarhea’d all over the young lady Jae forced a smile. Inhaled deeply and started over. "So Ceinwen, uh, come here often?"

As Jane spoke, she couldn't help raising a brow some, but than again her name was unique so it did make sense it wasn't too common. Though when the girl suddenly just seemed to explode with more and more to say, Ceinwen actually couldn't help smirking a little in amusement. It had been a very, very long time since someone acted like this around her and she found it amusing at the moment. Especially when Jane called her a looker, but the fact she said she smelled similar to another is what really caught her attention and she cocked her head some. "Wow. But you said I smell similar how so? And no I haven't been in the city long, but I tend to search out places like this where ever I go. I'm an artist myself so it naturally calls to me. What about you? Artist or admirer?"

“More bored than anything actually so I guess admirer due circumstances.” Jane shrugged as she felt strangely uncomfortable talking of herself. She didn’t mind normally but it coming round to her made her reevaluate certain facts about herself.
She didn’t like to reevaluate. Either par actlly the ‘Re’ or the ‘evaluate’. As such Jane immediately pivoted on the question latching on and taking off as it were. “Yeah he was the Snake King here and he had a scent like yours though it was more of an undercurrent. I don’t know but gave him a slightly scary edge. It stood out because it wasn’t him but it was.” Shrugging again she forced a smile. “Sorry seems as if my mind and tongue don’t really want to work together today. So why are you actually here and have you met Aeolas yet?”
She felt pretty safe as they were in a public place but the undercurrent was clear. Ceinwen could be dangerous and while Jane was a brawler she was also smart enough to keep her exits open. Curiosity may have killed the cat but not without a fight. At least that’s what she’d like to think even as she knew she was deluding herself. She was reckless partially because of the inherent danger.
