Let's Talk of Plans (Shaydra/Open)

Watching the immediate appetite loss for him being echoed in Selene he felt like a car. He felt lower than low. Damn it all he sighed inwardly careful to keep his shields high and tight he sat his napkin on his plate.

"Hey baby..."He began. "I know it seems like a lot is going on but it's just us getting used to each other. We have to learn and relearn each other. For some strange reason it's a lot harder for adults." Sighing he stood up offering her a lift if she liked.

"Can I have a hug, I could use one or a hundred."

She took a seat in the chair as she watched Shay gather her thoughts before speaking. Essentially what she said closely mirrored what he had said minus a detail or two. She had not expected him to share everything about them with her. But she could not honestly say that she was sad about her leaving in the first place. Not the best of thoughts but it was what it was.

She looked down for a minute as the other woman walked over towards the dresser to grab a letter that somehow would explain things. Natasha looked back up when she walked back over and held out the letter, she had to wonder about what was in it but then it seemed she was about to find out. She reached out taking it and pulled it close as she read over it for the next few minutes as she tried to make sense of what the words were saying. Shaking her head silently she couldn't believe this shit. What had happened was just lower than low and talk about a psychotic asshole.

With the letter held out to be taken she listened to what Shay had to say and it was just perfect really. She had never thought that something like this would come up here. Her first Pride things like what was being suggested was a very real thing and common. She had in fact participated, nothing serious relationship wise but it had been fun. But when she had left she chose to be the monogamous type and straight at that. Of course Jane knew she wasn't but no one in Chicago knew about their life before moving here except maybe Adrian but Natasha had never asked. This should have been in the past but apparently it was not to be because Shay was right. They both loved Hiero and she knew that he loved them as well and she couldn't make him chose when there was another option that she was more than comfortable with.

The question remained however was whether the two woman could get along and fit one another. If they could not then at least they could still be with him.

Reaching up she ran a hand across her face as she began to laugh at the situation. When she could talk again though still chuckling she looked up, "I swear i'm not laughing at you i just never thought this would follow me here. The question has never been asked but to Hiero i am straight, it was something i chose for myself when i could do so again. But i am not nearly as straight as he believes i am. I am not truly Bi but being with another woman is not a problem for me." Her lips pursed as she parted with the information. Standing up she moved across the room to stare out the window.

"You're right, there has to be trust between us all if its to work regardless of what you and I are to each other. But I cannot in good conscious say no to this. So to you I think we should work this out but until he actually asks me as i am his current partner nothing will be happening between the three of us. He will not just announce things and leave me in the dark, I am not that kind of woman to just roll over." She was still pissed about earlier and the only way to move forward was for him to get his head out of his ass. She did not truly push him often but on this she would not budge.

Turning to Shay she smiled and held out her hand hoping she would take it. No time like the present.

Selene just wasn't sure what to make of any of this, both Natasha and her mother seemed to up and leave suddenly. Which had her wondering if she or even her father said something, but she wasn't quite sure of what exactly. Hell she was still trying to make sense of what her father had even said her mother could be. A light breath slipped from her lips as she finally just stopped eating and looked back up at him for a moment. Those bright eyes staring at him wondering what he was saying when he paused before his words continued and she nodded. "I think I understand, but why would you need to relearn, get use to each other?"

Her little head tilted to the side, clearly trying to make sense of this and it just wasn't as of yet. Though as he stood and offered her a lift, she moved to accept before hearing his request and instantly wrapped her little arms around his neck to hug him tightly. Well as tight as any 5 year old could be with an adult. "I love you daddy and I'm sorry if I upset Natasha or mommy or you."

Honestly, Shay wasn't trying to alienate the woman or make her feel uncomfortable. Nothing of that sort, but she felt like at the moment they kind of understood each other and wanted to try and help this situation. It wasn't that she believed Hiero screwed up, but men tended to not think everything out when they made plans or ideas so sometimes it got acrossed mixed and well not always well receieved. Plus she felt Natasha needed to understand as she'd hoped Hiero did now to some extent, that her leaving hadn't been permanent or to be a slap at Hiero in the first place. At least not on her end.

Silently, she let Natasha read over the letter unsure how it would be handled or taken by her, but still she needed to know at least in Shay's mind. A light breath as she took it back once Tasha was done and finally explained what else was on her mind, trying to gauge the other woman's reaction, thoughts, but Natasha seemed to be holding a tight reign on it for the moment. Although, the laugh did catch her offguard, but she didn't lash out no instead she hoped Tasha would explain and so she did a moment later which had her nodding her own head softly. Leaning against the dresser, she let her explain and those dark eyes widened slightly before she softly laughed. "Now I see what was so funny, wow and to think he doesn't even know I'm very amused at this one. But at least there wouldn't be an issue or awkwardness with this."

Putting the letter back up, she watched Tasha move to the window before moving over to join her a moment, nodding at her agreeing about the trust. "That makes sense, to be honest I was shocked he hadn't talked to you first about this when I came back. As for what happened out there, I didn't not see that coming especially not in front of Selene so we both kind of got startled on that front. Especially since we both know what he was saying in a roundabout way. So let me ask you this, woman to woman. How do you want to go about this? Are you and I going to see what happens between us? Or are you wanting it all to wait till he actually explains to the two of us. Because believe me if I was any other woman I probably would of already claimed him back. But I can be a bitch, I'm not that much of a bitch." Pausing a moment she turned herself to face Tasha a moment and extended her own hand out.

"As we both know we both love that man as does my beast to his, I've never allowed a man to claim me like Hiero did. And he knows or at least I hope he does since I came back, that there isn't anyone else and it has nothing to do with him being the Rex. It was never about that to me. It was always about Hieronyous as the man, but there again there is three of us involved in this. However, I am merely expressing what I know inside cause as I said this will only work with trust." Her dark eyes watching to see how Tasha took this, as she wasn't doing it to make her made at all. Hell if she'd not left and remained with Hiero, met Tasha, the three of them could of possible already been something. Cause as her thoughts went when she first saw Tasha, she was beautiful and definitely someone she'd flirt with. So this was going to be very interesting especially since the two of them knew something that Hiero wasn't as of yet aware and that amused the she-wolf at the moment.

Hiero nodded taking the hug he actually needed. Her little arms making working magic on him. He inhaled deeply before speaking. Composing his thoughts free of his own issues with the situation. He tried shielding his thoughts from himself and failed. A smirk growing, he nuzzled walking to Selene’s room before sitting her down on her feet. The set that the cleaners picked replaced by the cutest little bedroom set.

"Well baby Adults don’t make friends fast. And getting to know each other is well slow sometimes... Lots of leaps of both logic and illogic. "

Taking a quick visual tour he sat on her bed so he was at her sight height. Meeting her gaze he said, "I love you too Princess. And everything will be fine one way or the other. It has to be, eventually. But today is a big day all about you lets find something that is stunning."

She thought about it and knew the answer almost immediately, she wanted to see where they went but she needed Hiero to explain himself. Her eyebrow rose however when she admitted that she would have claimed him back if she had been anyone else. Natasha would have fought her over it to even if she was beaten she certainly would have tried.

"I promise if you had tried to take him back I would not have made it easy for you. I cant say what he would have done but I dont go down that easily." She was just stating facts and since Shay was clearly being honest so would she. "But we clearly wont be having those kinds of problems. To answer your question however.. I would like to see where we go but maybe we should wait until Hiero explains himself to us. I hope that after this mess is cleared up that we can all make this work and everyone is happy with the outcome."

Her fingers laced with Shays and for the moment they simply held hands as Shay spoke on what she felt and what had happened between her and Hiero and frankly it made her feel a bit sad. She had never been mated with anyone, not truly mated anyhow and that was something she envied. She had hoped that her and Hiero would be that but it had not happened and it was something she had had to let go. They were simply a couple that loved one another and that was as close as they were ever likely to get. Heaving a sigh as her thoughts made her sad she tried to move past it as she had since the beginning. "Truly I like that it wasn't about him being the Rex but it was a little different with us lions. I liked him the man from the first meeting but at that point he was with Kasha and I ended up leaving for a bit anyhow so it didn't matter back then. Since I got back he has been with a number of woman with the last being Phoebe who was the Regina before me. We can pick who we are with but generally a lioness will pick the strongest mate available that they get along with. I found Ray attractive as well but we have always been at one another's throat." She laughed a little at this as that had been understatement of the year.

Brushing her hair back she looked at Shay again and smiled a small smile. She tugged on her hand pulling them closer together. It was amusing that they were basically the same height, as it was Nats heels made her just slightly taller. She brought her other hand up her fingertips tracing along the others jaw teasingly. Her eyes flipped from Shays eyes to her mouth at the nod she was given. Leaning in she stopped just short of them kissing their breaths mingling. She looked back up her lioness pacing in the background not entirely sure about what was happening but not throwing a fit either. Before anything could break up the party her lips touched hers softly at first learning each other for the first time before it deepened.

She didn't at all mind giving her father a hug, especially since he'd said he needed one. Exhaling some softly before feeling him nuzzling her, finally realizing they were moving and soon in her room. Looking back up at him and she felt her feet back on the ground smiling up at him. Though as he spoke she cocked her head some, tilting her head a little nodding some. But wasn't quiet getting why it was harder for adults than kids. Than again she wasn't exactly leaping at chances right off to meet new people instantly.

Though when he moved her to the bed she smiled, seeing how level they were a little more and especially so at the words he spoke right back. "Alright daddy, I believe you. Oh come on let's look at my closet." She suddenly hoped back up off the bed and grabbed his hand leading him to the door for her closet and quickly opened it, showing him her clothes before she went back to look over what she had.

When Tasha replied back to her comment of how it could of happened, she couldn't help chuckling some softly. "Good to know, cause if you had just stepped back I probably would of killed you for being unworthy for Hiero. Glad to know I would of had to fight, but also I'm glad it didn't go that route either for us." Unsure herself what Hiero might of done, but they didn't have to see the what if's so that was good and her thoughts shifted back and couldn't help the smile that slowly appeared. Glad to hear that Tasha wanted to see where this could go, before she gently nodded her head some. "I do as well, I truly do as well." Another smile gracing her lips.

Those eyes staying on Tasha's face, even as she noticed, felt their fingers lacing and gently gave her hand a squeeze. Picking up a little on some sadness coming from the lioness and cocked her head a little to the side, but didn't ask her anything. More curious if she would answer on her own or not, letting her make the moves for the moment, knowing she might not yet be sure or just hesitant. Which Shay didn't at all mind, once more giving her a smile when she spoke of what Shaydra had said about being with Hiero had never been about his status. Listening as she explained about them meeting, trying to ignore that he'd had others since she left. Honestly, it hurt to some extent, but she pushed it away. Instead she refocused right as Tasha spoke of another, but who it appeared was more into fighting with her. "Hiero was just Hiero really and the fact that my wolf willingly accepted his lion was another factor. Honestly, with what I do for a living, more the hunting I didn't think about looking or finding someone. My job as it was is dangerous, its one of the reasons we met, he found me after a bounty I had went wrong."

She didn't explain any more, that was one of the few times her job had come close to being the death of her as well. Than again, her ex had been in that case.

Those eyes moved back to Tasha's watching her, seeing that little movement with her hair and she allowed herself to be pulled closer. Smiling a little more especially when she noticed how her eyes moved from her own to her lips and back again. Feeling that light, little trace along her jaw, allowing her lips to purse, but said nothing. Even her wolf was just laying there, watching curiously though its tail flicking some was amusing to Shay. Before it seemed Tasha finally took the leap and came forward touching their lips and Shay stayed soft, though her free hand moved to the lioness's hip. Bringing her a little closer before softly nipping on Tasha's bottom lip a little, only for her tongue to lightly trace over that same lip a second after to soothe it.

Moving with the excitable little princess he walked to her closet looking in as she twisted her face with serious thought. As much as she was a shoe in looking presentable yet movable was the cue he was taking. Not sure what sort of testing there was. He smirked as he saw the velveteen looking green baby doll princess dress and the leggings hangung with it. He knew she would look adorable but part of this was her choosing.


The red dress was nice but also so were the jeans. So he helped some..."I love green its one of my favorite colors. But maybe it's too dressed up for school huh?"

Oh yeah she thought as the two females played with the other not trying to push the others boundaries if there were any just yet. Her own breathing hitched slightly at the nip but then she rather enjoyed rough as Hiero could attest to. Pulling back for now though not moving away she smiled, "I think that might answer some questions for now." Her teeth tugged on her bottom lip a moment as she considered leaning in again.

Really though they all needed to get moving and it was possible her lipstick needed a touch up.

Grinning a smile in her voice "you going to shower aren't you?" With that she pulled away giving Shay's hand a last squeeze before letting go. Backing off she headed towards the door intending to head back to the kitchen. "Should we wait until later for our talk with Hiero or do it before we leave. He might run from us otherwise." She had a point too.
