When her daddy caught her she giggled some before he spoke and corrected her, making her little face crinkle up a little. Exhaling softly for a moment. "I meant she is stranger to me, neither you nor mommy spoke of her and I just met..." Her eyes looked up to him and she blinked, going from him to Natasha to her mother and back again, pursing her little lips and wasn't sure what to think of this. "So what is mother than?" Nodding some, though she was still looking between the three of them even more confused by her fathers words than anything.



Natasha was his queen, but...yeah this little one was highly confused and it showed on her little face. Not even noticing as her mother fixed her plate, no she was looking between her parents.

Shaydra stood looking between Natasha and her daughter, before hearing the words and she exhaled some. Shaking her head and would follow the others to the table, noticing the seating arrangement and just exhaled softly. This was going to be very, very interesting today she could tell that already and it was only beginning. Licking her lips as she sat between the other side of Selene and Natasha, waiting till the others had their plates filled before getting one for their daughter first. Not nearly like the adults, but than she hadn't come into her beasts yet than she'd eat like them.

"She didn't mean anything bad by it Hiero, we have to look at it from a childs point of view. Neither of her parents around only someone she didn't know that is a complete stranger. Smells like the Pride. But I don't think she was trying to be rude in her words."

Though Shay didn't take nearly as much as the other two either, sipping on some juice, while listening to Selene and nodded. Having a feeling she'd meant stranger and it made sense. About to take a bite of some bacon, only for her whole body to freeze, having a feeling they should of thought of how to explain this to her. But too late now and her eyes shot to Hiero, arching a brow as if you say 'well...you opened the door on this one'. Than again her and him were both new to having kids so they were learning as they went, but this was going to be one long day.

It was like she was mad, Selene didn't understand what was going on yet. Licking her lips some as her eyes closed a moment before hearing Natasha address her and she looked back in her direction. Slowly that smile appearing over her lips.

"Your very welcome, but I never say anything I don't mean. Hiero never said you were beautiful. He kept that fact to himself. But thank you as well, though at the moment I'm hardly in that state."

Seeing the blush appearing she cocked her head and took another moment to casually glance over the other woman.

"That blush suits you, will have to see if I can make you blush more as we go."

Oh yes, Shay was a flirt when she wanted to be, but this was tame to how she could be, granted their was a child in the room. So she was being alot more tame, keeping that smile on her face watching Natasha a moment before taking a few small bites of her food.

Several things occurred to Hiero almost simultaneously. One he would always be the rock they broke themselves against. There was a coalition forming. And he was a fool. While he had managed to do the impossible on more than one occasion always for the greater good. He was suddenly the one hit with growing pains. Two strong-minded women getting along. His daughter being clearly bent towards that aim. He would always be in the wrong. He could either nip it in the bud of get used to it. Unity was his goal so be it let be unified against him at least they’d be unified. It hurt knowing the take on things as being displayed but he was made of stronger stuff than the very real very emotional distress he knew he was in for.

Forcing a smile he said, “Yes there was no harm of intent but Selene, Princess…” He said turning more in his seat to catch her eyes. “You will one day be a queen of at least one of our clans perhaps both. You will need to see things from multiple vantage points. Very rarely will it be solely from what’s easiest for you. One misspoke word or look and you might alienate some one who would be better as a friend. After all it is better to have friends than enemies.” He smiled having answered the rebuke from Shaydra. He knew it would take quite some time before she stopped rushing to Selene’s aid when he spoke perhaps forever but he was a patient person when he could be and for Selene he would summon his best most politic self, hiding his true more emotional self away.

He shielded nice and tight as he as feeling a little defeated and knew it wouldn’t end any time soon His smile becoming real as he looked on Selene despite himself. He went on explaining things, "As for what your mother is to the pack that will depend on her. In the pack things are handled differently. In the Pride she might be the Intimita. It’s a king or queen without a crown. In our case lets just settle on she is your mother and loves you very much."

Looking between Tasha and Shaydra then back he smiled and decided to get out while he was ahead. He had on every occasion hoped and pushed for the best. The reality of what that meant was daunting but at least Shaydra and Tasha were taking an interest in each other. As lycanthropes the truth as to how much interest was clear as a roadmap. He dug in letting the silence be as it was.

Natasha almost spit her food out as Shay flirted with her. That had been unexpected to say to least even if it wasn't unwelcome. She eyed the other woman from under her lashes and had one of those 'aha' moments. Though really it could be either of two ways. Shrugging mentally she would wait and see which way this would go.

That particular moment was interrupted though as she caught what he was saying to Selene. Most of it wasn't of real interest to her until he finally got around to answering to girls question about what her mother was.

She stopped chewing away as the word Intimita sank into her brain. It took her a full minute to remember what that particular word meant as it was not a title given often. She swallowed what was in her mouth before she could choke on it as her gaze went from first Shay and then to Hiero.

She opened her mouth fully intending to yell but her mouth snapped shut before she could utter anything. She took a deep breathe as she glared at him. "Excuse me?" See? She could talk calmly even if it was more a hiss of anger. It appeared he had been either talking about it or thinking about it yet he had not said a word to her, the woman in his bed. Standing up she said "excuse me" before walking away from the table as she did her best to not explode on anyone to the point that she tightened her shields about herself so she didn't leak her anger on anyone except for the person it was aimed at.

Selene was looking between all three adults still very much confused about some of this. Her mother seemed to be talking with Natasha more than Hiero and she wondered why, but than he was talking to her. So she exhaled some softly nodding as her mother re-explained about her words only for her dad to continue as well and her little eyes widened at his words of her being a queen. Biting on her lip nervously before dropping her head and her eyes from him unsure how she felt about this being laid at her feet already. "I...I don't know daddy..." Her voice had dropped and it was clear she was actually scared of this, did she have no choice? Was she already set to be a queen and not even know it?

Instead she listened as he explained about her mother and just nodded now, briefly looking up at her mother from under her lashes. Not even getting what he was meaning by another title he said though from what she got it wasn't much for her mother. Well she didn't know the ins and out for various positions yet otherwise she might of been shocked.

Feeling her mother beside her she gave a little smile, only to watch Natasha suddenly get up from the table. Dropping her head.

Shay didn't at all mind flirting with Natasha, she'd already told the woman she was beautiful and it was true. Younger yes, but that didn't take away from the appeal. But than after Hiero had tried to explain things and correct their daughter most of which she agreed with, she needed friends not enemies. Though watching the little one she could see daddy just shocked and might of worried her even more telling her she was to be queen some day. Reaching over she gently took her hand and squeezed it. Placing a kiss to her cheek and smiled some. Though she'd not expected him to throw this in a whole other direction again. Sitting back up her eyes looked from him to Natasha and back again before exhaling.

Natasha's reaction was about like Shay's though on different levels, Shay remembered what the term meant and she exhaled once more. Especially one Natasha got her voice, keeping her own shields locked up around her for now, having a feeling this should of gone differently first of all. Before she got up as well, glancing to Hiero and shook her head at him, telling him to stay with their daughter. Moving off she came up beside Natasha and gently touched her shoulder.

"Why don't you and I go talk a moment okay? Promise just talk I think its about time we did."

There was no tone in her voice, but her eyes showed that what she said was the truth, the two woman needed to talk. Motioning down the hall back to her room hoping the girl would allow them a chance to talk, sure it probably wouldn't fix everything, but help. It could help she hoped.

Well fuck as he thought as he smiled big and bright. It was about the way he expected. It would be that way for awhile especially with the two of them. there would be nothing right he would do or say he merely smiled brighter because of it. He could understand if he had been the sort to not be loyal faithful giving and willing to die for what he believed in. He was all those things and yet in this new paradigm he was also male which made him wrong. He told himself it was the road he was on. One or the both of them would fly off the handle take things out of context or purposefully not understand. Keeping his smile in place he dug in to his breakfast eating a bite in light of something else to do at the moment.

He understood what another might have been proposing in his shoes he wasn't that sort. Or at least he hadn't been. At this point he might as well head down that path. Between his daughter having an adults perception when the moment suited and the potential two women in his life taking offense at the drop of a hat. The options of staying sane let alone happy were slim at best. What mess had he gotten himself into. He sighed again fuck it all he thought. Turning back to Selene he said, "So you are aware my dear while the title could be taken as less than what it means it is as close to the crown as a non-lion could actually ever be. As a wolf your mother even if Tasha didn't exist would only ever actually be Intimita. She would be respected as Queen but there would be no official sanctioning for her. I sometimes forget that I view things as they are and take as little bias as possible. Which is rare. I will learn to take more personally I promise, " He joked.

She'd been headed for the front door when Shay up beside her touching her shoulder. Her head jerked towards her as she said that they needed to talk. And they did but their talking wouldn't fix what had just happened.

She shrugged her shoulders in response but followed the other woman down the hall and to her room. The door was shut quietly behind them and then Nat was turning to face her. She wasn't scowling anymore but she was still upset. Now the question remained what it was they needed to talk about.

Selene wasn't sure what was going on, but it appeared that everyone was upset and she sighed some softly. Nibbling a little at the food on her plate, glancing a moment to her mother before her and Natasha disappeared then turned to look at her father. A light breath slipping from her lips, glancing to the plate, nibbling a little on her plate. Till her father spoke again and she just nodded her head some softly, before biting on her lip. She really wasn't sure what happened or going on and was afraid to say anything right now.

As Tasha followed her down the hall to her room, she closed the door and exhaled. Motioning to the chair for her to sit down. Brushing her hair back out of her face and took a moment to figure this out. Before she walked over to the dresser and pulled out the letter from her brother to Hiero having a feeling this might help a little.

"I'm not sure what all he told you about me, us when I was here before. But I didn't just abandon him like he might of thought. I left with my brother to help I thought. Turns out we all were deceived. I never stopped loving Hieronymous, nor did I take another mate while I was away. Wolves mate for life, he was my mate and to both me and my wolf still is."

She paused and looked out the big window a moment before exhaling and turned back, holding out the letter.

"Here read this. If I'd know I was pregnant I never would of left period. This was for Hiero from my brother and I didn't open it figuring it was between them. Let's just say this explains alot...unfortunately."

She'd let her read the letter while she turned back to look out the window, exhaling some softly. Before glancing back when she saw Tasha was done.

"I didn't come back to ruin what was started with you and him, nor do I want to hurt you. But we both have to admit we love him, as does he for us. As for what happened out there, I think it was done a little hastily, but he wants us all to be happy. Hiero knows I'm bi which means the flirting was real and not be just being a bitch. Perhaps we can figure something out that works for us all."

She'd pause to see if Natasha was following or incase she wanted to ask or say anything before she'd go on. Moving to sit on the arm, as she looked back over at her a moment before she continued.

"Now I don't know where your tastes lie, nor would I ever force anyone to become something they not comfortable with. But if your willing, perhaps we can get to know each other woman to woman. Maybe something will come of it, maybe it won't. But its clear we both are going to be in each others lives, in Hieronymous's life. Like I said I won't force you to be something your not and its only one suggestion there is a completely different one that wouldn't really have us being more than well friends, I hope. Though definitely have to hold trust on all sides, if you'd consider us sharing Hiero. Meaning when he was with you, I wouldn't be silently fuming, or angry nor trying to damage what you both have and it would be the same on your side when I was with him. Like I said it would take alot of trust between us especially, but all of us."
