Blayne flipped the card in his hand once more. He knew he probably should consult with Seth. Was it a pack if there was only two of them. Who was he kidding there wasn't anyway that he could hold the pack against threats. Yes he was a Beta but he couldn't fight he was healing but he wasn't ready for this. Between him as a Beta and Seth as an Omega there was every possibility that they could be over run and if there was someone out to harm them there was no one to protect them. It was the best option. None of the other leaders had offered help in fact no one had they had been left on there own and deserted. He needed to do what was best of the pack as it was and that was to accept the offered protection. He didn't know if Seth was staying or going to move on as well but for him. He had a reason to stay and if nothing else needed that protection. It had gotten dangerous tonight and he didn't want to feel that vulnerable or leave Seth that way either. He pulled out the Cell phone and looked at the card opening the text Message feature and began.
Carina if the offer of protection is still on the table. I would like to take it for myself and Seth. He is the other wolf in the city. He is an Omega. I'm not sure what else to ask or say. If it would be all possible to please call me or meet me at the Cabaret so that we can discuss things.
He reread the text and tried to think if there was anything else that needed to be said. He couldn't think of anything and decided he probably should inform Seth of the change of the status as well. Well he knew who he was texting next. He hit send and sent it along. Hoping for a positive response.
