Casper laughed at Skye's words, giving her a soft smile. ”Dragoste is Romanian for 'love'. It is a term of endearment for one that you care for.” And he had told her the truth, that he had cared for her, but that was impossible! They had just met and the only reason that he had any affection toward her was because she reminded him of Magda, poor beautiful Magda. Her hair had almost been that vibrant shade of red as Skye's. She had had the beautiful flawless skin like Skye, but it was that innocence lost that she possessed that reminded him so much of his little sister. It screamed to him, calling to him, and he knew that he would protect Skye as if she was his own sister. Scary for him, but it was going to be what it was going to be. He smiled as she spoke about his hugs feeling safe. Definitely not something that he was used to hearing. Then he looked down at the snakes around his wrists and smiled, giving her a nod. ”Don't worry, love, he won't bite you unless you attack me. And yes, snakes are my animal. I've had them for about two hundred years now. Never really liked them before, but I find comfort in them now. Would you care for one? I can get you a non-poisonous one to keep with you. They really are good friends if you find the right one.” He began to stroke the head of the snake that he held before leaning over and letting it move down his arm to join the others around his feet. He wrapped his arms around her as she began to talk about the things at the school and someone named Seth and BBW and he had no idea what she was talking about, but it continued to remind him of Magda when she was upset about something so he just kept hugging her and nodding like he understand what was going on. ”I will talk with Donavonn for you if that is something that you wish.” And then he caught it. The scent of a male wolf, the shielded aura that he knew. Donavonn was coming. He moved away from Skye a little, nodding toward the other side of the park, just as Donavonn cleared his throat. He gave his normal cocky smile and did a low courtly bow. ”Ulfric, it is a pleasure to see you are doing well this fine evening. I hear that a congratulations are in order. You are to be wed to your lupa, yes?” He had heard a great many things about the Ulfric and his lupa through the grapevine, but he thought that mentioning the marriage was the safe place to go. Casper listened as Donavonn spoke to Skye about how he wasn't her father. He knew that he had tensed at it before lifting Skye's hand to his lips, having just realized that she was clinging to him. ”He is right, Little Red. Donavonn is not your father, and I can assure you that he is nothing like your father. I have known many men like your father and Donavonn in my six centuries, and I would have your Ulfric at my back every time.” He looked over at Donavonn, catching his eyes as best he could, and taking a deep breath, pushing his thoughts toward the Ulfric. The man was strong, but Casper wasn't trying to roll him, just to give him information about what exactly Skye's father had done. However, the next part he had to say aloud so that Skye would realize that he knew her secret. ”Ulfric, do you know that Little Red injures herself with a blade to relieve the pain of what her father put her through? It is information that I believe you should be aware of, even if she hates me for it.” He looked down at Skye. ”I do this, because I care and you should not be harming yourself.”

Skye giggled and blushed when Caspered told her that he called her love. She really liked it, she felt as of she was were she belonged finally. Shaking her head while her hair tumbled around her hidding the red of her cheeks from him in a bashful way. She looked down while she giggled again, then looked up her eyes still bashful though they were more playful at him. She nodded to him as she looked at the snake and and nodded she wasn't going to attack him, why would anyone attack him. "I would like one but I don't know if I am allow to have one at the school, it would be a friend. I can see why one would find comfort in them look at them they are calming in there own way. " Was said in a soft tone as she watched him place the snake on the ground as he offered to talk to the Ulfric for her and she nodded into his shoulder. Casper moved away from her as he wrinkle her brow wondering if she upset him, looking to where he nodded she turned very pale and moved slightly behind Casper. Her eyes narrowed on Donavonn as guilt wafted off of her as she still blamed herself for him getting shot by who ever that was. She shuttered as he spoke to her, her eyes shut while she took a calming breath then she opened them. They seemed calmer but haunted as he kept telling her he was not her father, she knew that but he didn't ask her how SHE felt about things. If she was ok or felt safe, Seth did and she grew to care for Seth maybe something else but no she wouldn't think about that now that would wait. Moving out from behind Casper slightly as she planted her feet with a slight stomp and put her hands on her hip. "I told the teachers and even handed them my transcripts which I watched one of them put them on your desk with the 'Paper work'. There is even a copy of my Diploma in the mix, I wasn't allowed friends so I advance is school quickly...I was the youngest person in my town to finish. And I know your not my Pa...Daddy Drank you don't from what I can tell anyways even if you are a pole cat BBW. " Skye said as she stuck her tongue out at him, it was playful yet there was a bit of her teenage rebellion in there. She pouted a bit as she shook her head again while she thought about what to say. "I will try...BBW...but I cant promise, you really terrify me...and I am a teenage girl I am going to do Stupid things." She looked at him as the silent 'duh' filled the air as her hip jutted out as she rolled her eyes, he was raising a teenager so he should expect this. She looked at Casper as he spoke and felt a strange tingle in the back of her neck while the hair on it stood up on in. The sound of a crackling fire assaulted her ears while the smell of smoke hung in the air. She swore she saw a wagon and the sound of music was around them, her body tensed up even more as she looked to the vampire her lips curled in a soft smile that she never gave before as the warm feeling moved through her. This was her family where she belonged he was her ... "Fratele" Skye's mouthed the word not saying it as she shook her head as she heard Casper tell Donavonn her secret. Her body went numb as she turned and looked at him, her mouth opened in shock. How did he know? She never told him, her eyes moved between the men as she shook slightly more from anger then fear. Turning on Casper as she wrinkled her nose in anger. "Why? I have control of it 'Fratele' Better then most that do it. It help with the dream....Cassppper." Skye's voice took an accent that it should never had as her hand blurred as she lightly hit Casper's should. It was saying she was upset with him for telling but she didn't hate him. Slowly she crouched down her hands moving to cover her head while she shook it. This was embarrassing , her face turned blood red as she tried to hide.

Having heard all that both Casper and Skye had said to him, Donavonn felt a world of conflicting emotions race through him, anger and guilt being amongst the first and foremost warring for the top spot in his head. Thinking back on the mound of paper at his desk in the school, Don seemed to remember there being an unopened transcript letter and a diploma in the pile somewhere, but no one had ever told him who they had belonged to. Oh well, that was simple enough. With Skye having graduated already, that just meant he'd be able to push along helping her with her wolf instead of worrying about math and science. Don might have been great in a good number of areas, but school was definitely not one of them. Hell, he only had a GED, himself. Turning to Casper, Don quirked a brow, silently telling the vampire that he'd heard and understood the severity of his revelation, and that he would get to that momentarily. Chuckling slightly at Skye's overacted display of teenage girl rebellion, he stepped closer to her, unsure of whether hugging the kid would be too much for her. "Listen, Skye, I want to let you in on a couple secrets. If I had known the diploma and such were in regards to you, I never would have made you suffer through shit you already knew. Beyond that, I can see the guilt in your eyes, and I know you're still blaming yourself for what happened the other night at the school. I've told both you and Seth, plenty of times, I'll always lay down my own life if it means my pack is safe. I'll always jump in front of a bullet to protect you. If my pack and my family isn't safe, then my life isn't worth living. Simple as that. I really appreciate you trying to not be so scared of me, and I do drink on occasion, but as a werewolf, our metabolisms are too high for the alcohol to really have any effect on us, so you don't have to worry about that. Iknow you've been through more shit in your life than anyone should ever have to deal with, and I wish I'd known you years ago so I could have prevented it. Given you the family that you deserve. But I can't change the past, no matter how strong of an Ulfric I am. All I can offer to you is to give you everything you could want and need, now." Turning to Casper, Donavonn gave him a very pointed look, letting the vampire know that his next words had a hidden meaning for him to decipher, and not for Skye to know, before turning back to the young girl. "Skye, I know who your father and step-mother are. I know where they live, where they go, what they do. I've been keeping tabs on them since you joined the pack. I can promise you this, right now; they will NEVER hurt you again. Casper and I will make sure of that. But with that promise, I want one in return from you. I want you to promise me that your cutting days are over. I lost a very dear friend of mine because he did the same thing. I can promise to take away your reason for doing it, but I want your promise that you'll stop. Fair enough?" Holding out his hand, Donavonn meant to shake her hand, knowing that any other contact than that would likely send the girl running, and not wanting that in the least. While the only thing that he wanted to do was wrap the young wolf in a bear hug and protect her from all the evils of the world, he hoped that a handshake would do, for now.

”Again, a pet snake will be something that I can talk to your Ulfric about.” Casper smiled at her, thinking about what kind of snake he could get the young wolf that could be a companion for her and not be too dangerous to others. He felt the smile move across his lips as he thought of the baby python that he had come across a few days ago that was probably still sunning itself just outside his bedroom window, figuring the little thing would be perfect for her. It was the only non-poisonous snake that he had at the house. Most of the others were so deadly that a single bite could down a grown werewolf. So the little python could be a gift to her, something that would not grow too large, but that could still squeeze the hell out of anyone who would threaten her. Casper raised an eyebrow as Skye and Donavonn exchanged words, looking over at the Ulfric. ”You took a bullet for her?” It was indeed something that he liked to see in his allies, and even more so when it came to Skye, though he knew not why. He looked down at Skye as Don finished speaking of family, memories of his sister whose face had been so blurry in his mind, coming back. He was seeing her more clearly now and she looked just like Skye. All except for the scar that had been on Magda's forehead from a riding accident when she had been a child. Skye's forehead was flawless, but everything else was as Magda had looked. Maybe little Skye was his sister's doppelganger, that one person in all the universe to look just like someone else. Stranger things had happened. He wanted to hope for something more, but looking like her was enough for him right now. ”Even rotting vampires as old as I understand what it means to have a loving family, Little Red, and I believe that the local Pack could provide that for you. Though I would like to be included in your life as well. With Donavonn's permission, that is.” He looked up at the Ulfric, trying to get him to understand just how much he wanted in Skye's life. Nodding at Don, understanding his unspoken words, and knowing that he was going to be making a road trip very soon with the Ulfric. There was no way that he was going to let the wolf take away the fun that the sociopath inside of him wanted to inflict on the people who had raised her. He heard Don's words about his friend, but that wasn't what had his eyes going wide as he looked down at Skye. Her words were like a dagger through his heart, her voice and that accent sent an icy chill down his spine. His heart and breathing, which he had kept up mostly for Skye's benefit, stopped and his face became the blank frozen mask that it always did when he was on the verge of breaking. He forgot about Don for the moment, grabbing Skye's shoulders and leaning down to look her in the eye, knowing that his hands were still nothing more than bone. ”Where did you learn that word, Skye?! Why do you call me fratele with that voice, that accent?” He gave her a hard shake so that she was looking at him, knowing that it was probably just a tad harder than he should have. He remembered Don in that moment but merely glanced at the Ulfric before trying to calm himself. Still holding onto Skye's shoulder with one hand, he grabbed her chin gently with the other and took a deep breath, making her meet his eyes so that he could push just a little of his gaze at her, so that she could feel a little of the pull that he had. He had to know. Had to know if she was what he thought. Could she be the reincarnation of his sister? He had heard of such things happening, but he would have never believed, or hoped, that it would ever happen to him. And if it was Magda, then what would she remember? Would she remember her last night on earth? She was born when he was six years old, but she had been over thirty when he had been so starved that he had taken her life. Would she remember that night when he rotted in front of her before ripping her throat out? For the first time in centuries, he found himself praying that, should it be his Magda, she wouldn't remember her last night with him. **Why do you know to call me brother as she did? Are you more than you appear? Are you my Magda returned to me? Or someone sent to haunt me and remind me of the mistakes and horrors of my past? Speak, child, for my heart is already breaking.

Skye smiled at Donavonn as he spoke to her, he did tell her it wasnt her fault but if she didnt run then he would be safe. No matter how many times he told her it was ok she would always blame herself for what happends. Note the now healing slices on her thigh before the new ones that now sat on her thighs. Those were from the dream of the cold dark wet area she was shove to keep safe also add the dreams of what her daddy did to her it was offically ok to say she was confused and messed up in her head. Looking up to the vampire as she nodded telling him she would like that if he really wanted too. She then looked at her Ulfric and gave him a shy smile as she quickly looked at the ground and kicked at the dirt as he touched her hand, she almost wanted to hug him. " I still aint going to like it, that is the devils water and its bad for you. No offence BBW...I dont think knowing where they are is going to make me better at all. I just want Daddy to give me my Mama's trunk but I doubt he ever will. Like I said he is a Mean Ol' Mister and my mama God rest her soul only gave me my name. ..I can try BBW, if I need help I ask how about that? She said while she raked her hand threw her wild hair. Turning to face the vampire with a smile as she wrinkled her nose, and giggled a little. Then it all stoped with her eyes fell onto his face, her face fell and she looked worried. Turning pale as she reliased she upset Casper his face which was smiling earlier and kind went blank then he called her Skye instead of the pet name he gave her. She gasped when he grabbed her shoulder in his bone hands and moved down close to her. What word what did she say wrong? He gave her a pet name and the name felt right. Than her body was being jerked as she started to hold her breath from the fear she was feeling. Crying out as who she saw wasnt Casper there it was a man with long black hair and sharp blue eyes that were evil to the core jerking her, the terror moved into her very soul. Her head was moved up as Casper spoke to her, she didnt understand it but some part of her had tears leaking out her eyes as one of her hands moved to touch his forhead. Her eyes still glazed over as she spoke her body shook as if it took to much and the memoires that came with it hurt "Vad ca fratele acolo. mă poţi vedea? Prea tare să joace prea mult prea repede dar intr-o zi veţi şti cine sunt în interiorul. Veţi găsi mine? Deşi vina tu goale este prea mult pentru tine să se ocupe de ea nu a fost vina ta. Mă bucur că am fost capabil de a economisi... dar am liber-te de ea sunt iertate, te iubesc fratele meu"Skye blinked while stepping backwards away from the Vampire as she looked around in a daze. She felt as if she was pulled out of a fog as she turned to Donavonn. She looked confused and unsettaled. "Donavonn...I dont feel so good..." She said as she reached for her Ulfric for the first time ever as a child reached for a parent that would protect and help them, her eyes were red from the tears and her face was sploty. "Make them stop please?"*I see you there brother. Can you see me? Too hard to play too much too soon but one day you will know who I am inside. Will you find me? Though the guilt you bare is too much for you to handle it wasnt your fault. I am glad I was able to save you...but I free you of it you are forgiven, I love you my brother*

Donavonn watched curiously as Casper's face lost it's emotion, doing that blank-as-a-marble-statue thing that vampires did. Don was wondering what had changed over the course of the last few moments, until the vampire grabbed Skye by the shoulders and shook her, hard. Letting a warning-filled growl loose from his chest, Donavonn knew that his voice had dropped quite a few octaves, his words being an instant warning to Casper. "Casper... remove your hands... now." Not caring about anything other than the fact that Casper's hands were little more than bone, and still on his pack-mate's shoulders, Donavonn began to move forward as soon as the cry left Skye's lips. Though before he could reach her, words in a strange tongue left both of their lips, seeming to communicate in a language that Donavonn didn't understand. She still reeked of fear, and Don could feel the power emanating from the six hundred plus year old vampire. Watching as the scene unfolded in front of him, it seemed to Donavonn that there was something going on between the young she-wolf and the rotter, something that wasn't malicious, but still important. Don would ask Casper about it later, when he wasn't contemplating removing the vampires arms from his body. Forcibly. All of the thoughts regarding the pair's strange behavior went immediately out of Donavonn's mind the instant he heard Skye's plea for help. Quicker than he'd ever moved in his life, Don was between Casper and Skye, enveloping the young girl in a hug and whispering soothing words of comfort in her ear. Feeling around with his aura, Don couldn't detect anything metaphysical nearby that would cause an unwanted reaction within her, so he had to assume that Skye was dealing with too many emotions, too many memories, too much of... something... all at once, and her mind was simply overloaded. There was nothing that he, as Ulfric could do to help her, but as her friend? He could help her as her friend. Speaking softly Don kept his voice as light and airy as possible, trying his best to keep the ever-present growl from making an appearance when he knew that Skye just needed the comfort of a friend. "I'm here Skye, I'm not going to let anything hurt you. Casper won't hurt you, he was just a little shaken, that's all. Shhh, relax kiddo, you're safe here." Looking pointedly at Casper, Don knew his face said what his voice did not. The wolf and the vampire needed to have a talk, about a few different topics. Once Don was certain that Skye was calmed down, he pulled back and looked straight into her eyes, making sure she could see the truth of his words in every aspect of his face. "Skye, listen to me. You know I'll never let anything happen to you. The second you put that ring on, you became one of the most important girls in my life. I promised you then, and I'll promise you now. I'll always keep you safe. Y'hear? Not only that, I think Casper and I are planning on a road trip pretty soon here. We heard there was something important we needed to pick up. A trunk that belongs to a very important girl. And what kind of men would we be if we didn't go and retrieve that trunk for her?" Finishing what he hoped was a comforting little speech, Don wrapped Skye in a hug once more, looking to Casper over the girl's shoulders. Speaking with his eyes, Don let the vampire know that there was much to discuss, the foremost being how best to force feed sixteen years of torture and abuse to a grown man and his psycho bitch of a wife. Donavonn smiled wickedly with that thought, knowing that Casper and himself had some fun times to look forward to.

Casper ignored Donavonn's threat. The Ulfric might be powerful, he might even be able to rip Casper apart, but it would be easy enough for the rotter to heal from such an injury. He had been ripped apart before, and, though it hurt and took forever to heal, he could do it again. No, he was too concerned with the girl in his hands and what she had said. But if that single word had frozen him, the fact that she responded in Romanian shattered what was left of his control. He jerked his hands away from her as if she had shocked him, moving back fast enough that he looked as if he had disappeared and reappeared six feet back. Language, whether English or Romanian, was hard to come to his mind, but he managed to speak anyway. ”You can't … How could … How is this possible?” He knew that Don wasn't understanding what was going on. Hell, Casper was barely understanding what was going on, but he knew one thing. Skye WAS his sister, WAS Magda, just in a different body, with a different past, and in a different time. He watched Don take Skye into his arms before he found words that even begun to ask the questions that were running through his mind. His voice was low and deadly, the voice he used at his most angry, but he knew that they didn't know him well enough. He also knew that the anger wasn't at either of them, but at himself. ”How could I be forgiven? After what I did, how could I be forgiven? Five hundred and eighty years of guilt, anger, and madness, and yet you forgive me?” Again, he had a moment to remember that Don was there, but only because Don was speaking. He laughed at Don's words, pulling his aura back into himself and feeling his skin appear quicker than normal with the power rushing through him. ”She is mine, Donavonn, do you understand this? I do not mean that I have met your young Skye and become smitten with her. I mean she is MINE. My blood runs through her brain, my sister lives in her body. She is my Magda, reborn.” Yet he knew that it wasn't just that. The instant he had smelled her blood, he knew that it was bound to him as well. That, somehow, not only was she his sister reincarnated, but she was blood related to him as well. More than likely the descendant of his sister, making it all that more easy for reincarnation to occur. Then Don was talking again and Casper remembered how this had all started, how he had planned on killing the man who had touched Skye as no child should be touched. And then it clicked. He hadn't just touched Skye, a random young girl who had touched Casper's heart when he found her. No, he had touched his little sister. ”Oh no, Donavonn, we're not planning a road trip. We're going to have a couple of permanent guests in my basement for a while.” He was rotting again, this time he wasn't sure if it was the rage or the thought of using his corrosive rot on Skye's father and step-mother. ”We shall get that trunk for you, Little Red, but I cannot suffer your father or step-mother to live. Do you understand what I am telling you? You are MINE. The blood that runs through your veins, the soul that has gone through five and a half centuries to find me, belong with me, and I will not let anyone who harms you in such a way as they did live.” He pulled the power back into himself until at least his right hand was solid and whole again, walking over to her and brushing his fingertips against her cheek. ”I am sorry that I shook you, but you have the memories, don't you? The caravans, the barrel, the firelight? Is there a man in your memories who is so beautiful that it hurts to look at him with long black hair and piercing blue eyes that hold a dark evil you want to run terrified into the darkness?” His description of his sire wasn't exactly how he saw the man he had come to love, but it was how others described him. If she remember him, then the forgiveness was even more unfounded.

Skye felt Casper leave her as if she was holy water on him as she openly sobbed, the tears left trail marks down her cheeks. She tried to touch him as her hand reached out into nothing but empty air, she brought her hand back to her mouth as she stopped a bigger sob that threaten to escape her. Her tear stained eyes locked onto Casper while she started to shake and shake her head in confusion, she didn't understand what was going on. What was happening to her? What was wrong with her that she scared him? Then the fill Donavonns arms move around her as she took a deep breath, her head rested on his chest as she trembled in them. Tears moved down her face as her nose turned red, moving to try and bury her face in his chest. For a second she swore she could smell wood smoke and the sound of horse hoofs patting at the ground as she was told to go to the dream land. Cling to Donavonn tighter as she swayed slightly from crying as she shook her head over and over mumbling something in the country accent so thick that even her Daddy would understand it. Skye lifted her head to look at the vampire, her hair blowing around her and across her face. She slowly stepped away from BBW as she knew it was time to tell him what she felt. The look on her was firecer then ever before as she smiled at him. "Because that is what Families do Casper they forgive each other and love each other no matter what happens or what one may do to each other Fratele. Its time to understand that! You lived with guilt to long and its now time to cry a river build a bridged and get over it...Ya understand me." The big brown eyes that were blood shot from crying as she spoke her voice a little shaky as she started. It started to get stronger near the end with her foot tapping than she started to giggle a childish giggle, her had moved to her mouth again and the other across her belly as she did. Skye looked at him unafraid of his temper or his anger, she was ready to go toe to toe with Casper over what she said,it meant the world to her. Her eyes looked back at Donavonn just to make sure he was behind her to keep her safe just in case she was ballsy right not but she wasn't dumb. If he lost it she would bolt but would anyone blame her if she did? She maybe a wolf and like a good bone to chew on but having a body of bones running after her was not her cup of tear. Listening to both BBW and Casper as she nodded letting them both know she heard them, she just needed to think on how to answer them. Slowly she moved where she could see them both as she flipped her hair over her shoulders. "I understand BBW, it would be nice but neither of you have to go out of your way for it. Its just a nice thought of having it, I mean I never met her...She just has always been the angel in the ground. Someone that if alive would of saved me." She said as she kicked at the ground her body held tight as she remembered the nights of begging God to have the woman come and save her for anyone to make it stop and no one ever did. No one ever cared ti save the young girl that showed up to class painted with bruises, the one with hand prints on her legs. Skye stood there her eyes on the ground after she said what she did and the thoughts about her life with her daddy. She moved her hands over her arms while rubbing the ghost pains away , looking for the lumps that used to be there when she lived back with her Daddy and her step mother. She looked at Casper as he spoke again, her eyes grew wide as she stood there in shock. Someone wanted her but no one ever wanted her, the pack took her cause she was a wolf and they needed her as much as she needed them she felt. She wanted to understand but she couldn't completely understand him not yet. She nodded as he told her all the information that her head could take, then his hand touched her face as she leaned into it a bit. "I always dream of the cold dark wet wooden place that some one shoved me into then the sound of people crying out. I know I am confused and I dont understand whats going on I wake up with tears in my face...there is this man with long black hair that is evil feeling and these sharp icy cold blue eyes that pushed me room that..." She trailed off she already knew what happen but she wouldn't say it he felt guilty enough from earlier and she wouldn't go on though compassion still set in her innocent eyes as she looked at him.
