Kenyon sat in a corner of the jasmine canopied patio out side of Esme's tea and coffee shop. the woman was certainly a wonder and not that she would be preserved there were many things she could do for people. beyond that she had already been doing.
He sipped casually at his tea tasting the complexity of flavors allowing it to bring the sensations of the taste as it was crafted to do so. In a way every cup of tea from that woman's hand was an artful concoction of drinking natures beauty and one could close their eyes to see its precious bounty.
He was rather subdued in dress and in his glamour he wanted to be left more alone tonight then normal so he had dampened the illusion that was around him. He gazed out watching the humans pass by the shop occasionally one would break out and dip into the shop only to leave with a to-go bag. But then once more on their way.
This was curious even after so long he found the human experience to be different. idly he wondered how Sally was doing with the pregnancy it had been months in human time since he had last been able to see her. And that was around the time she had found out about her condition it was no time to extend a helping hand. He saw her as a bridge of sorts. Just as Esme was only in a different case. But he did wonder.

Sally finished up closing the shop as she stepped out into the sun letting the heat from it move through her. She wore a halter flowing dress it fell to her ankles it was in soft blues and purples. The dress was chiffon fabric so it was light and airy to keep her cool but it made her waddle walk look softer and more feminine. Her stomach wasnt that big yet but in her eyes she looked huge.
Slowly she turned the way to the tea shop since it was the one place she could eat at. Taking a breath as she smelt the jasmine before she even got there, she had to rest for a second the baby made her winded . Her skin was pale and spoke of the stress her body was going through was not normal for any pregnancy but Sally didnt let that stop her from living the best she could with out hurting the unborn child. She honestly still didnt know whether it was a boy or girl yet
Sally smiled as she walked out to the patio and headed to her normal spot near the canopy, but stopped when she thought she saw Kenyon. Moving closer she saw it was him even through a foggy haze. She didnt understand but since she got pregnant things seemed to move differently to her. Shaking her head as a real smile touched her face ,she moved her long hair off her shoulders. She wore it loose lately and was contemplating cutting it since it was a lot of work as she was on her own.
"Well Long time no see...I love how we can run into each other." Sally said in a singsong voice that she used when she was really happy. Sally was feeling really lonely since no one was around her and her mother moved back to court basically disowning her. "Kenyon, You still are handsome as ever if I say so myself."
There was a little twinkle in Sallys eye that spoke of the fun she was having, she was playing with him in the way one would a old friend. "So how are you doing my friend? Still want to be seen around a waddling woman that looks like she is eating a beach ball?"

Kenyon looked up from his mussings when Sally spoke in greet he stood and smiled and pulled out a chair at the table for her.
"Ah yes it has been quite the spell Sally! And yes our paths cross in the most unusual times. You flatter me any handsomeness I hold is cast into shadow by your radiance."
He dropped languidly back into his own seat watching her.
"now why would you think i wouldnt want to be seen with gorgeous woman? And I would bet only those who would notice such a delicate baby bump would be those who are jealous. How is the pregnancy treating you?" Concern genuine at that was etched into his tone as he asked the last.

Sally smiled at his kind words as she took the seat, she didn't realize how tired and winded she really was just from that short walk. Taking a deep breath as she fought to feel better, her face still paler then what she normally was. Placing a hand lovingly on her little baby bump as she order tea and a tea tray since it had a little of everything.
"Well the baby is very health, they said it is right where it needs to be. I refuse to see the sex though and the doctors think I am strange cause of it. But to tell the truth the mommy isn't doing well I am having problems that is placing me on light activity and bed rest most time." She said in a soft voice that was barely above a whisper. " on top of it all I cant get a hold of Ian or Markus... when I need them the most at this time."
Sighing as she shook her head then looked at Kenyon. "But then again I didnt need to trouble you with my problems. How have you been and what trouble have you gotten yourself into?" She asked with a playful glint in her eye.

He did watch her with concern. Paying rather close attention to what she was saying. He grinned though when she asked after the trouble he'd been in.
" Ah well your not alone, for starters you've got me! What is a friend for if you can not unburden heart and soul and they not cast in judgement but instead wish only to help you. What am I here for but to help you?
"And as for any trouble I have been in nothing beyond the normal or the usual."

Sally smiled at Kenyon while the waitress placed the pot of tea that she always ordered, slowly she poured some in the cup as she added just a touch of honey. Taking a sip of the tea as she listened to him , a small smile creped on her face , his words sinking in. She didn't have to be alone, she wasn't going to face this by herself. One of her biggest fears are now crashed against the rocks of hope.
"Well I bet that is fun to get into trouble lately I been stuck in the house looking for something to do mostly watch T.V. and playing on the internet. " She said with a sigh " I am not used to not doing anything . I cant seemed to get the energy to do anything."
The tea tray was placed on the table as she took up one of the sandwiches and nibbles it as she looked at him. " Well I don't want you to put your life on hold for me kind sir but if you would like to help I will gladly accept it."
