The drive back to the precinct Cord did his best to not throttle D'arcangelo. The man was infuriating, good , but infuriating. What was the point in being able to know things if you were bound by rules that meant that you couldn't use what you learned effectively. Listening to the man talk grated his nerves as it was obvious that things tied together with a good deal more that he wasn't saying. He could only force the man so far before he would playact the mountain.
So needless to say as he skidded to stop at the precinct he was in no mood to be trifled with. He went straight to the beast and wrangled a cup of steaming ambrosia. As the warming glow of caffeine hit his system he went to the board and tore down everything about max and the current investigations. The city could go to hell as far as he was concerned. Two of his officers were dead and he would have the jack ass responsible for it. It was personal and a good deal wrong but it was the way things were.
First however he would straighten the unit out. He did not like what he saw at the scene. Takanashita had a quite a few things to address. And the cards would need to be on the table with not just the Unit but their civvie camp followers as well...
