The force was getting too dispersed. Someone needed to step up and bring the units together. Not the cases, the Officers. Tak didn't like anyone on the force, nor did they like him. However, they still had to work together. With Chance temporarily taking over as acting Lieutenant. Tak was acting Sargent till Jay was back in action. Tak posted a bulletin for an after hours meeting for any, and all RPIT personnel to attend. The meeting was to start at 6:30pm. Would anyone have the Maksi to show up. This should be an interesting day.

Rayvan looked at her watch as she strolled into the RPIT offices, she still had fifteen minutes to spare. She didn't know what this was all about but she figured there had to be a reason for it, and she wanted to find out what it was. She strolled into the room and immediately saw Tak, she plastered a smile on her face. She was determined to get along with him no matter whether she trusted him or not, and perhaps now was the best time to take that step.
"Evenin' Takanashita. First ones here I guess?" Since she hadn't seen Chance yet, or anyone else for that matter she figured that was the case. There was only one problem with this situation, it left her here with Tak alone until the others started to arrive. Just great. As long as she didn't touch him maybe she would be alright. She just hoped that he didn't insist on a handshake and it he did, she hoped her shields were strong enough to hold back the tide if it came.

Tak saw Rayvan walk into the room. He was not shocked when she gave him the your creepy, but I'll try and respect you smile. She almost tried too hard at times. Tak felt it would be better for everybody to get anything off their chest once and for all.
"Well being that I'm the one that called this meeting we might be the only participants here tonight. Don't worry I don't bite.............. much." Returns the fake smile. "This team needs to air a lot of stuff sort to speak. I'm giving everyone their chance to do so. We can start or do you need to wait for back-up?"
The irony of his question was in her fear. The question was indeed a great one. However, the answer was even better. Maybe just maybe this could be a cohesive unit. If not there was always dinner.

Rayvan strolled the rest of the way into the room, relaxing by sheer strength of will. She would have to learn to deal with him, he was part of her department. Part of her team. "So you called the meeting?" Emerald green eyes gazed at him, but showed nothing of what she was thinking, "You're right of course there are things that need to be aired, brought out into the open." She figured since they were alone she didn't have to worry about anyone overhearing her, "Like what you really are....." She knew he wasn't human, she didn't know how. It was a psychic thing, a vibe he gave off.
She chuckled, and perched her hip on a desk not too far from him, but not too close either. "I don't need back up. I'm not afraid of you Tak, I just don't trust you. Something about you doesn't ring true." She was pushing her luck and she knew it, but they were in the middle of the RPIT offices, no way he would do anything here.

"Your right, I'm not human, as I know your gifted. I'm not going to tell you what I am. Call it a secret society. I don't care if you don't trust me. Hell I don't want you to. My only answer I can give you is I'm here for the bad guys. I won't go further then that. Your uneasyness though is underserved. If I wanted to crush your bones I would have already. Don't attack me I won't attack you. Other then that say what the hell you want, I could give a rat's ass about your feelings. Can we get along? Can we coexist in peace without fear of me ripping your head off?
Tak chuckled he made it known he could do damage but not interested in doing so. Maybe she could just relax and be what she is. He's tired of the fake smiles. He would rather have her sneer.

A brow arched at his words, "A little full of yourself aren't you? I think that's the biggest reason I don't like you Tak. You're a cocky bastard, and I'm surprised your damn head isn't too big to fit through the frickin' door." She shrugged, he wanted it straight she'd play it straight, "I have no intentions of attacking you, whether I trust you or not you're part of my team. I don't attack those I work with. But don't expect me to invite you over for pizza and Friday night football either."
Her emerald green eyes flashed, "I could give two shits less what you think or don't think of me. I'm here to do a job not win a popularity contest, and as for my 'gift' well that's off the record buddy. AS far as I know three people know about it, and if anyone else -finds- out I'm coming looking for you."

Chance sauntered in then, a mug of coffee in each hand, one for himself and one for Rayvan. He'd brought them deliberately when he had heard that Tak was the one who'd called the meeting. Tak seemed to dislike even the smell of coffee, and that suited Chance just fine.
He could almost see the steam pouring off Rayvan the minute he stepped through the door. He knew that she trusted Tak about as much as he did, which meant not at all, and he smiled as he placed a steaming cup of java in her hand.
"So, what's all the this about? I've got cases to work. The perps aren't going to catch themselves."

Dorian was back on light duty until his rib healed completely. But he could still sit in on the team meeting. Not that he felt like this was a team. Every time he thought about it he liked the way things shook loose less and less. Crusinski should sill be second in command not some yahoo from god knows where. he couldn't shut his feelings off but he could learn to work well with the others. Swallowing his pride Dorian walked in to the room. The air was so charged you could just feel the electricity dance along your forearm. It looked as if Tak and Rayvan were going to draw down on each other. And Chance would finish off whoever survived."So yeah what he said, although I don't have any work myself. I would like to maybe go have a hand full of drinks and some quiet time."

Tak was impressed with Rayvan. Straight from the hip is a term ninjas used, and she gave it to him straight from the hip. After admiring her Chance walked into the room with a steaming pile of poo in his hands. Tak knew it was a deliberate shot at him. He'd make him pay for that another time. Blackstone sauntered into the room which was shocking. Thought he'd be dead already.
"Chance, Dorian I'm glad you guys showed up. I was just talking to Rayvan and getting ahead just a bit. I called this meeting because as a department we are way too fragmented. We are making our jobs harder on ourselves by not working together. As been previously stated I don't like a bunch of you, and I know the feeling is mutual. That being stated this has no bearing on my ability to get a job done. I want to hear from you guys how we can work together, and to put our work experience to better use. Oh yeah don't hold back cause I won't."

Rayvan gave Chance a friendly smile as he entered the room, a complete turn around from the expression she had been wearing only seconds before. She took the proffered cup of coffee, "Thanks I needed this."
Before she could say anything else Dorian walked in, she hadn't seen him since the first big meeting for the team so she was decidely surprised that he was here. She turned her attention back to Tak as he started speaking, she took a drink of her coffee and said nothing.
