Its morning in Chicago, and here I am typing up some info for you. By now you all know I make a living pointing out the trash and scum in this City. I will go to any lengths, as the staffs of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Rush University Medical Center can attest to, to make sure you know the truth. In my career I have uncovered crooked politicians, drug dealers, corruption, and other crimes making this great city a den of vices. Pimps, dealers, gangs, racist groups, and con artists are just part of the problem. Well folks know this old Jack is at it a gain. I am working on a new story for you all. I had a hot lead dropped in my lap not to long ago, so I am out to break this story. I will go to any lengths to point out and cause the dregs of this great city to get put away or shown for what they really are. So folks here is what Jack is going to do for you... I am going to break a hell of an exclusive, and will be back (as soon as I get out of hospital) to writing about the corruption of this city.
I know no one man can clean up any city, but I think one man can bring to light the things causing the city problems. I grew up here most of you know that, I ran the streets as a kid... hell I was one of the scumbags that caused this city problems. I got turned around by one of my foster parents, and his daughter. Kevin took me in and raised me from 14 till I was 17. Then It happened Tina was killed, I was hurt... but Kevin died inside. Her killer was never found and Kevin was never the same. I got sent to a new foster home till I got out of high school. I went hunting for who did it, but never found him. I sat in a diner one night and this old guy saw me drinking coffee, out of the blue he started asking me questions. When I asked him why he was asking questions, he said I looked like I had a story to tell.
That night I met the second man that changed my life. Bobby took me under his wing and taught me to be a journalist. He taught me everything I know about my trade. Hell he brought me my first trench coat. A year ago today he passed away, I told him some day I would break something big and it would be for him. So Bobby this story is for you who took an 18 year old kid and gave him a way to make a living. Also to Kevin I won't quit till I find Tina's killer. So Tina your little brother misses you. So Chicago thats why I am here and why I do what I do... it started just for me but now I do it for you, and my City.
