Hiero walkerd into the club after standing in line with the the clubgoerswho were here for entertainment. Their goals were as different as night and day. He could have sauntered in brandishing this invitation but blending in gave him a chance to watch others enter and who'd he be dealing with. His stomach turned a bit as he watched Simon enter. There was still a strong impulse to strangle the man. He knew he couldn't allow the mans siblings to take control of the foxes but his air of superiority rankled him.
His lionlicked itslips atthe idea of feasting on the foxes soft innards. Hiero sneered at the thought. It'd been five days but he hadn't gotten hold of the information broker, yet so he wasn't prepared to discuss business with the man. Moving with the slow crawl of the cue Hiero mulled over what tonight would be and what could be gained. All in all not allthat much afterall it was the first meeting of the clans in any semblance of a working council. He expected notmany toshow up or worse come loaded for war. It was the reason he'd talked Ryssa into sitting this one out. If things turned ugly he trusted her to do what was right for her and her family.
Moving through the club Hiero brought his shields up tight, hardening them agaiinst whatever might takeplace. He smelled the mingling of powers and instantly was on gaurd against predation. His last run in with this Kiss hadn't been the most productive. he stood out herein ways that made his neck hairs stand on end. Faded Jeans, white tee shirt, and black blazer, his dreads flowing freely he looked at as if he should be in an eighties music video versus the seat of Vampire authority in Chicago.
Skirting the ever present media he entered into the area set aside for the gathering moments behind Mr. Prince. He wasn't surprised as the man had probably stopped to pose for the circus of cameras. " I have to admit there are fewer here than I suspected... where are the others...?"

Katrina stood seeing Simon and Hiero walking in just minutes of each other she smiled to Alex. “A few more so we are no longer alone…pity. Could have been interesting.” She said to Alex and turned to Simon. Seeing him bow. She laughed softly.
“No need for formalities. Mr. Prince. That is not what I called this meeting for.”
Katrina Turned to Hiero with a welcoming smile. She didn’t use any Vampire tricks. “Welcome and we have simply had small talk so nothing eventful has been missed. Now as for where everyone else is. I do not know they seem to of chosen not to be here.”
She clasped her hands together in front of her and gave a slight bow to the 3. “ Welcome all of you. The reason I have invited you is to hopefully allow all of you to find some kind of an accord with each other without me being the middle man. I am giving you all a place to speak to each other and I simply have one request for myself. And that is to be on equal footing. This city is prime meat for a take over. A new master and a lycanthrope community that is severely in a shambles. I know some of you have started working on this. But I am simply giving you all the grave warning that if we as a collective in this city are not careful we will be attacked soon.”
She smoothed her skirt and resumed her seat on the small couch. Plush chairs were scattered for the rest of them. Alex having claimed one for herself.
Katrina stiffened and looked back towards the main club. She felt something from Jonas. it was a little spurt of shadow through her thoughts the red flag there was an altercation she would directly have to deal with as the new master of the city. She froze in that way the really old ones did a technique that though for her youth in death was mastered in thanks to her lineage in the blood.
She slowly stood looking around to the few whom had arrived. "Please you all must forgive me. There is an altercation I must attend to. Dealing with one of my people. It has no baring on this meeting of yours I leave it all in your capable hands. I hope you will all settle to some kind of arrangement." She bowed slightly to the group and quickly left the gathering through a back door to the room.

Benjamin didn't like the idea. All the heads of the clans in one place was a recipe for disaster. If anything it was the best time for a citywide coup. Its the reasonwhy He had stacked the decks in the bearsfavor. He'd brought every greve and had them scattered in the club. Each with orders to move to Jeremiah should anything at all seem out of place. Jeremiah was against showing up in force but Benjamin would take the brunt of his anger on this one. He'd been in other clans and he wasn't going to allow Jeremiah to come to harm.
Jeremiah walked into to Excaliber and was instantly angry. Benjamin had disobeyed. He felt it as soon as he entered. His sleuth were here. Hies Greves were here, they were here to protect him. It was a call he would have made inBenjamins shoes. It didn't mitigate that Jeremiah knew it was the wrong play. Showing up in force would taint anything that might come of this. And God forbid if any of the other clan heads noticed them it could get ugly quickly. Taking an extra few minutes to find Benjamin Jeremiah dragged the man into the bathroom and chewed him out. Get our men outside he called over his shoulder as he left Benjamin to clean himself up.
Making his way to the meetinghe smiled as he wasn't the first and he hoped he wasn't the last. All of the leaders here he hadn't met directly. He recognized Prince andknew that he wasn't the actual leader of the foxes. the lion he'd seen in a few surveillance photos. The rat female was no leader either. He knew Arturo they were occasional drinking buddies. he looked at the Master of the City. Noticing everyone sitting he cleared his throat and found one for himself. "The bears are here..."

"I don't know you all but I don't think we should wait much longer to get proceedings under way. I am Alex here for the Rodere." alex it was sre it wouldcome off as a bit tactless but she wasn't a hunter by species and yet here she was in a room with four such creatures. Thebear was terse and the lion wavered somewhere not far off. The fox looked at her as if she was on the menu. All together just like in poker if you couldn't tell who was getting taken it meant it was you. She wouldn't mind if it were Katrina butthese yahoos were sadly mistaken if she would go down without a fight.Yep better to get this over with fast than to wait for eveyone to get settled familiarity bred contempt.

The sight of Hiero made simon flinch internally he was still deeply embarassed by their disasterous meeting, but he kept all his tells in check and his empathic ability was on hard lock down. The arrival of the bears made him even more nervous, this was definetly not a good place for a decent fox in desinger clothes. Yet now was not the time to be squeemish, he walked over to Hiero and held out his hand to he lion against his every common instinct.
"Hiero how nice to see you again, trust you and yours are all doing well."

sabin walked into the room. he was in such a rush that he nearly mentally omitted the fact that he was supposed to attend this little party. his stomach growled its protest of being neglected for so long. completely unabashed he scanned the room looking for any face that was familar.
he sighted heiro and jeremiah, the only two that he knew. he nodded to heiro and commited to memory every other person in the room. these would be the people that sabin would need to speak with in private. he mentally checked off each person and in which order he would speak with them.
"heiro you didn't call me..." he tryed to start a conversation because the energies in the room was building. fear was sprinkled the air like sugar. it was a taste that both excited and brought the venom the lips to sabin.
"i am sorry for being late but it could not be helped..."

Yingjiang Hong walked through the club with the air of royalty. She had deemed this meeting of only cursory importance. She had mulled over the idea of not attending but the more the thought ran through her mind the worse she felt. Upon calling Andrius she heard the want onhis voice for her to be their and it was all she could do not to run there. Instead she'd taken extra time and put on her best face. Decked out in the colors of her streak red and gold she stood out even more here where the predominant color was black. Her attire was grandiose and heavy but she thought it better to come dressed as if this was a meeting of the utmost importance as it mattered to Andrius.
She was surethatthe regalness of her dress was only of middling interest as even as alternative as some of the patrons were she was sure that they'd never seen a man bound as her son was. She knew it was better that he'd died but she couldn't bring herself to do the deed. Instead bound as he was he became a lasting image as to how far she would go to insure that the tigers as a whole would survive. Sauntering into the meeting area she watched as shock and recognition flitted across the gathered assemblages face...

Hiero excepted Simons hand feelings aside the man was trying and that had to count for something. Bringing a cordial smile to his face Hiero shook Simons hand,"We are fine as always. How are things going for you?" Hiero knew that this soiree had the potential to turn ugly so he choked down his aura. Locking his shields down tight as he felt the approach of the bears.
Even in his mortal seeming one couldn't help but know the Ursa of the bears as anything but. He was a massive man who could only be described as bearlike. Hiero suppressed a chuckle and merely nodded to hm over Simons shoulder. Alex of the rodere was another new face but he suspected that the rodere might have been the victims of quite a few shakeups with the tigers rampaging in the streets. The scuttle butt was that the Rat King was a better businessman than leader.
"Sabin, no I didn't I thought you must've received the same invitation I did; so I expected you to be here fashionably late as usual..." Hiero's good natured ribbing of Sabin died on his lips as the Khan and Gurkahn entered with a retinue of gaurds. Hiero had been in such closeness with the khans beast that he would know it anywhere. The man as bound as he was would have been unrecognizable to anyone else. Hiero however knew and it sickened him. There was still yet a spark of man left somewhere deep inside and that spark railed with fury and hurt at being treated so. It would have been a kindness for the tiger queen to kill the man instead of force him to live this way. Hiero couldn't help the emotions that took hold of him. He knew that he was responsible for this and he would do what ever it took to right it...

Simon smiled back with a similar degree of cordiality, as he shook Hiero's hand, the light flashed off his gold and onyx cufflinks. It was hard at the best of times to not feel what others were feeling but skin contact made it all but impossible, still he was impressed by his own ability to not get even try to get into Hiero's head.
"I get by, the same things all the time. It keeps me busy at least." The arrival of the tigers made his hackels rise. Though he kept his feelings and thoughts hidden, the tigers and bears were on the top of his list of suspects for his brother's allies, maybe not their leaders specifically but some faction in their ranks. "Well I'll not keep you from your friend here, if you wanna talk to me again I'll be around." He nodded to Sabin and made his way towards the back of the room to the nearest exit.

To her mind the Fae really did deserve to be represented at this meeting and she as much as anyone in the whole city was qualified to speak for them. Sorcha walked up to the club a long gown of pale silver satin hung from the slender spagetti staps on her shoulders and clung mercilessly to ever sumptuous curve of her figure of her body, the skirt flared out just below her thighs and flowed into a graceful train. Draped over her shoulders, and slung around her arms was shawl diaphonous silver cloth that glittered like it was studded with countless tiny diamonds. With her long hair piled up on top of her head, several silver pins shaped with sparkeling eled snowflakes held her do up, with a few long locks falling in a stylishly careless way tumbled down her neck. She walked up to he gaurd at the door she smiled at him at walked past him without introducing herself or showing him her invite, the gaurds knew better than to stop her the last one who did still isn't walking correctly but the doctors say he will recover in a few more months. She walked into the meeting room and the temperature dropped several degrees, as she strode past them to greet Katrina, when she realized that she was no longer in the room, she recognized the snake and his companion and winked at them both playfully. Her graceful gliding walk made the tiger feel like she was being cheap and tacky in her finery, and the rat's feelings toward her couldn't be more obvious if she were singing them. The others looked on at her with real appretiation for her beauty and grace as she stepped into the room.
