Sorcha pressed herself deeper into Adrius's chest she didn't feel revolted or disgusted and her long sigh seemed to say she had seen things like this and worse, and she was bored by it. With a smooth fluid movement she twined her arm around his waist and slid a hand up his shirt across the bare skin of his back.
"I see why you pulled me away now and why you were so worried about her touch. I thank you for protecting me." She leaned up to kiss him when her body ubruptly went stiff in his arms. "Oh no, how could I have lost track of the time like this." Her voice souned different, more windy and colder somehow, and her entire body felt like ice.
Somewhere in the distance the sound of huge bells tolling rolled through the club, though oddly none of the other clients seemed to take notice. Sorcha stepped away from Andrius her glamour falling away in a shower of moon bright motes of light. Her black silk gown became gleaming copper with patterns of countless different kinds of leaves in various deeper shades of copper and brown. Her sapphire colored was spun through with with golden leaves and silver cobwebs. Set across brow was a sever crown of dark metal that looked very much like lead, this was obviously a crown of battle. A necklace of gold and copper leave winding around lead and dripping with acorns made of garnetts hung from her neck, matching earrings dangled from her ears. As she moved leaves seemed to fall from her long sleeves and seem to vanish before they hit the floor.
Across the room, in the direction her eyes where locked, two figures appeared they were tall and lean, they shared identical features the same dusky skin and pale hair that looked spider silk that fell to the middle of their backs. The only difference between them was the way they moved, one moved like fluid, but it was not like Sorcha, it was organic more alive, the other steps were sharp and brisk like a blade cutting across a battlefield. Between them they carried a large box made of ice, and frost chased with silver. They strode across the room and the people moved out of their way, but didn't seem to notice that they did or why they did it, the came before Sorcha and knelt down setting the box at her feet.
"Forgive us or lady but the queen herself has placed us under a geas to fullfill this mission. It is time for winter to fall over the world and you must accept your crown of the season." they kept their down and their hands on the lid of the box, Sorcha stood over them her eyes gleamed with cold light hard and unreadable.
"I forgive you, as this is the issue between me and the queen. Now open the Box I cannot refuse the crown of the season." They undid the the double latches on the lid of the box and they could feel that there was something huge was about to enter the room. When the lid open an icey wind tore out of the box and blew over Sorcha as snow blew in their eyes they lost sight of her.
When they could see her again her gown was white and sparkeled like fresh fallen snow, it seemed like it was made of frost, cut like a stapless sheath it's skirt fell long behind her. A long cloak of snowy ermine hung just off her bare shoulders and fell over her long train, and the tips of the fur seemed to sparkle like it was covered in frost. Her hair glittered even more now, with diamonds and silver snowflakes woven into it. Now on her head sat a crown of ice and silver woven together in a manner so ornate and delicate it looked like it would break if you breathed on it too hard. She leaned down and placed her hands under their chins, as she moved she trailed snowflakes, she lifted their faces to meet her eyes.
"My brave knights, you have served me for 600 years, and as long as your loyalty never wavers, you will never have to fear me for what the queen forces you to do. Now rise and return to the court, and let the queen know that your task is full filled." They did as she said rising and vanishing in a swirl of snow and wind. She turned to Andrius and he could feel her power had amplified many times now that she wore a winter crown. "My strong warrior, may you never forget the moment when you saw winter fall." she held out her hand to him. Oddly enough after all that had happened no one else seemed to notice what had happened.
