It was hard to keep a secret from someone who organized even his day so in a quiet moment and not lightly he picked up the phone and dialed the master of New Orleans. when he answered he greeted" Greetings to the master of New Orleans. I'm calling to have a bit of a chat if possible..about two of my own who wish a trip to your fair city for recreation during the festival of mardi gras"
Hoping he would be amicable so that he could surprise Alex with a private jet to the city for her and Melissa as a late Christmas gift.

Gates sat at a table at the rear of Christians watching the new master of ceremonies. As of yet the place had been receiving record numbers of patrons yet the ledgers were in arrears showing a loss. However he needed a manageable divergence from his concerns in Baton Rouge and resources in Shreveport.

I felt it a good surprise for them as both have been working fairly hard and could use some recreation time. The idea of mardi gras appeals to them"
He waited a moment " I believe that the lions were of help last time there was an issue but this one will be on her own with one of my vampires"

Knowing how fixated and focused Alexandras could be made the ask as clear as day to him. Lest it was her a simple letter or perhaps text would have sufficed. "That is good news indeed." Fixing his eye on the turn of the trick Gates set back now aware as to the financial chicanery that was afoot. A smile at such a simple thing causing so much loss. It was though no active deceit still meritous of action.

As he heard the request his brow hiked. That was strange but entirely doable. Aeolas had stacks of applications of humans vampires and others that wanted to work at the hotel in management.

Depending on answer he'd get rge list paired down pick and then contact them to vette. Sending them out with the girls to stay as a job opportunity.

The mental lists were shuffled and he had three shifters and two vamps that fit the bill. He would narrow that again after meeting with each for temperament and looks.

Gates nodded rising closing on the bar itself moving amongst the crowd of revelers. He closed on his soon to be dismissed master of ceremonies. Christian might have been more trouble than he was worth but it was a sure thing that he had managed the staff better than any other.
"Good. I await your selection. Three weeks or thereabouts I will have a standing flight plan from Chicago to the Lakefront Airport. Goodbye for now Master Aeolas."
