The question danced round his head so he asked. "What are you going to get up to are you back to stay or are there other plans in the works?" He would verify before extolling the virtues of Tyler and what happened over the last few years. Namely Johnathon the last Ulfric and what he'd hidden. Which Low-key thought might have gotten him disappeared.

"This from the young man who I believe broke into the school when he first arrived?" Oh yes she remembered that one the smirk visible on her lips once more before he continued and she nodded some. Chuckling a little at the could be proved and shook her head. "Hmmm I bet." Moving to take a sip of the coffee feeling the phone vibrate in her pocket and pulled it out, glancing down seeing it was from her boss and just laid it on the table without reading it for the moment right as Seth spoke once more.

"To stay I don't plan to be leaving Chicago again. This is my home in more than one way I was born here as a human." Exhaling some knowing that it did hold some painful memories with the death of her parents, but there was more good that out weighed that pain. Glancing again at the message before tensing up & she went pale 'Hello sis. Tell my dear niece I'll be seeing her & you soon.' Reading and re-reading it over Shay sat there unsure what to think, but this couldn't be possible it couldn't...

"Broke into is a strong wording. I prefer discovered an entrance. Plus times were different." He smirked nd hearing she wanted to stay he sipped the last of his cup contemplating another doing the math in his head. It was within his budget but he would probably need to buy two.

As she went on parking as she checked her phone. He frowned, "What's wrong you getting audited or something?"

Before she'd looked at her phone and her demeanor shifted which of course Seth caught. Blinking as she registered he'd spoken and shook her head. "If only. No this is a lot worse. For a lot of us." Pausing she quickly sent Hiero a text that he, Tasha, needed to come to the school now! Before looking back to Seth. " Williams alive."

He cocked his head as she said William wondering why that was an issue. Though he was sure from her scent and actions that it was very much an issue.

So he waited a beat for clarification before just asking directly. "Uh, who is William and why does that scare you."

This was not good, but how the hell was he alive? She'd seen the body with the silver lodged inside his skull and chest. Exhaling she glanced back to Seth aabd exhaled.

"William is Donovann, my brother." Remembering only Hiero knew Don wasn't his real name. "Was any of the security changed at all and how easy would it be to hack?"

"So...your...dead, brother, isn't dead?" He asked slowly focusing on that aspect of what she said. He'd done his best to insure the school was safe. The codes rotated daily and those on the list received a new code daily. Of course that could be subverted if you killed someone and took their phone but it being doubly redundant required the person tied to the phones biometrics to use. No one save the Dean, the Ulfric, and Lupa knew that besides him.

Not to mention the practical security Carina instituted when she got there. And the preternatural aspects Tyler added. The school was a fortress when they wanted it to be. He was more worried when he was away from the school.

Shay was staring at the text message, the fact it was coming from her work wasn't good either. But she still couldn't get over the fact this was possible her brother. Shaking her head some before looking back up to Seth and exhaled. "I'm not sure, but this isn't good if this is him and not just some sick twisted joke. The fact its a text not a phone call doesn't help. Nor the fact it is coming from my bosses number." Unsure what Hiero was going to say, but perhaps he could help her find out more.

"Well seeing as he was working with Xander and I don't think I need to remind you what that man was capable of. He had connections with other species such as the Unseelie..." Growling a little and not liking this at all.

He furrowed his brow putting his brain power to puzzle out the situation. He knew dead was dead outside of vampires, zombies, revenants, ghosts, poltergeists, spectre, writhe, and spectral anomalies.

All of them could hurt the living in one way or another. Of them only vampires and revenants could use phones. Of them vampires were dead to the world during the day. Which meant risen dead revenants. But revenantsonly hunted down those that had caused their deaths.

Unless magic was involved which laughed at all the polite rules of the universe. So he had nothing save really that he was sure they were safe. Tyler was a good ulfric strong and quietly so. Her baby daddy was a scary piece of work. And even on his best day he was sure that Don...William couldn't take either let alone both so dead or not nothing to fear really.

All the same he tool a second scanning around them. Not that he knew anything to look for save lycanthrope. The shy barista was a fox but she'd worked here forever. So he ruled her out though he did switch chairs so he could see her better.

"We're fine nothing to worry about. It's a sick joke. You're being spoofed." He said forcing a laugh which sounded forced and held no humor.

Oh it wasn't that she was scared of her brother, that wasn't the problem. Shaydra could handle her baby brother former Ulfric or not. it was Selene she worried about and knew given that letter he'd written for Hiero that if he was one of Xander's he was more ruthless than anything and Seth knew first hand how bad Xander had been. Shay did personally, even Hiero, the pack, Sabin all of them that had been here when he tried to take over knew. That worried her. Xander as your master meant trouble for anyone under him, dead or not his followers were loyal to their own death. Releasing another breath she closed her eyes a moment trying to think, before hearing Seth and glanced over at him once more.

A brow arching clearly knowing he wasn't fooling her right now, even if she wished he was right. "Maybe. But this is my bosses private line it doesn't make sense. Why would anyone use a Hunters line?" Wondering if Seth remembered she was a Bounty Hunter, glancing at the phone and half tempted to call the number, but at the same time not so sure. "Just keep an eye out, you know what he looks like, granted I'd like to think 'IF' it is him he'd not be stupid enough to come to the school. Or hell Chicago, the letter I tried to show you truly pissed off Hieronymous seeing my brother would probably get him killed a second time."

Looking around a moment she turned back to Seth again a moment later, "Hey..what do you know about the Dark Court? Their abilities and such aside from Glamour."
