He smiled as she interrupted him. It was her right as the more alpha of them. She was bristling with anger. He got that he was angry as well and trying to offer an olive branch. So looking down to the table as she stood towering over him growling down on him her shields slipping enough that he felt her beast.

Without raising his gaze he asked, "So you think you were a victim? You may want to be. But you were a weapon. Why do you think it hurts so much what about that don't you get. Yes you were misused by him but you all left me. And by your tone you've had this conversation before. So yeah kick my ass rain down on me I can take it. But when you do and as you do realize you are not a victim you were a weapon and while you get angry about that I was trying to start over to not be a victim. I am not blaming you for anything as one of my alphas it was your responsibility to protect to help..."

Raising his eyes from the table his chin a bit jutted as he was aware how his words could be taken especially as she hadn't heard him out. "I wanted to start over but if you want to hold on to the past fine. You let me down. Doesnt matter why? You did and whether you cared or not doesn't matter. If we hold onto the past I am looking at the person who abandoned me because her brother was more important. Her brother who was an Ulfric level wolf needed her more than I did. So, are we closing the book on then and starting over or do you want me to hold onto what was..."

His voice held a growl because he was getting worked up. He was being told how much she hurt and how it wasn't her fault. He wasn't honestly blaming her he was assuming responsibility for his own mental state. He was offering a new start and yes closure. But if they were to hold onto the past it would hurt so very much so very often and she had to accept that. He wasn't an alpha so he was used to losing. He was accustomed to a certain amount of pain. If she willed it thats what it would be. He didn't have to like it and he didn't. He would live with it as long as he could and deal with it one way or another.

As Seth replied back she arched a brow, cocking her head some before exhaling sharply. Shaking her head some and let her eyes close. "I'm not my brother Seth, I wouldn't punish you for feeling or saying what you are physically and sure as hell not by a force shift that he's done to you." Letting out another breath slowly, not really giving a care at the growl that came from him as he spoke, licking over her lips a moment. "Alright, let's just drop this. As you said let's just put the past behind her and move on, that past is dead honestly anyhow, so might as well leave it all dead and buried."

With Seth, she easily lost the desire to argue, fight even and waited to see if it was still on the table for them to move past.

Having not stood it was easier for him to deflate. He sipped his coffee meeting her eyes before quickly looking away.

"Okay. So my change?"

She moved to take the other chair, though glanced over at him and arched a brow some when he spoke. Slowly a smirk played over her lips a moment before he cocked her head. "Wow that is the first thing that you say after all that? So my change? Thanks alot Seth." Shaking her head a little sliding his change over to him as she sipped on her coffee and exhaled some.

As she sat he watched one brow raising as she remarked on his statement. His lopsided grin appearing for a moment as he said, "God gets credit everybody else pays cash."

Realizing his cup was nearing the half way point he knew he'd need a refresh sooner than later. Number four of the day and it wasn't even noon yet.

"So...youre a mother? How does that change things for you?"

That grin was what she remembered the most about him and chuckled softly at his statement before shaking her head. Taking a few sips of her coffee, licking her lips some before he spoke and she exhaled. The smile grew and her eyes were sparkling as she seemed to think about it a moment. "Yeah I am and its a little different. Never thought about it really since well its so hard for many of us to ever conceive. But I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. Selene is my world since the moment I first saw her and held her in my arms." Pausing a moment taking another sip of her coffee.

"I'm extremely protective over her." Thinking a moment about things.

"I heard outside tigers the odds are less than one percent? Which is even with the best medicine and help. How'd you keep from shifting who kept your beast?" Realizing he just asked like a million questions he sipped raising hos hand to ask for a second.

"What I mean is...howd you pull it off without problems." Not that he planned on having kids, ever. He saw what monsters even the kids who weren't lycanthropes were like at the school. When he'd originally imagined the school hed thought of Hogwarts or vampire academy but this was nothing like that.

Hearing him running off with so many questions she couldn't help chuckling a little before shaking her head. Cocking her head when she went to answer only for him to halt her and reword it and she smiled. "Actually it was a tiger who helped. She was one of my closest friends there in New York I've know for years. She took my beast and even Selene's shadow beasts. But than again the woman was a pretty strong tigress." It did mean alot to Shaydra her friend was able to do so much for Selene to be born and Shaydra could never repay her enough. Not that the woman would ever let Shay.

"Wait so you're saying you have a thing for cats, well those of the feline persuasion. How long have you identified as a feline missy?" Low-key was really a low maintenance sort. He picked and poked like most people breathed rarely malicious but he could be devilish even while joking.

It was another reason he tended to hold up by his lonesome. He knew he would never really be people broken where he didn't get up to mischief.

"Oh ha ha smart butt. Cerena has been my friend just shortly after I was infected and we've remained that close. As for feline persuasion I don't kiss and tell dear sorry. So what about you? What trouble have you been causing around here." Taking another sip of her coffee and reached up to brush some hair back out of her face. Knowing what he could be like and despite being a trouble-maker from time to time she had come to adore the young man despite anything else.
