Ruslana looked at the older vampire in front of her and gave her a soft smile, nodding she understood being in America for the first time since it was hers too. Though she can morph better then most can it was what helped her get along in her years, that and she was to use this to learn to be a better. She was worried she would find this place against her pallet , to rough around the edges or too wild for her to handle. She loved wild and rough just not in the land more so in bed. Then hearing three words that worked for her in a completely selfless way. What Temperance said about her made her brighten up a bit, putting a true smile on her face that reached her eyes.
She didnt think she was doing too bad either in fact she thought she was doing better then that she was doing great. Maybe just maybe she found a companion, a friend in there dark twisted city they were stuck in. Standing up with her head held higher then before but not in a cocky wave she followed after the woman , her brow wrinkled a bit when she let go of her arm at first thinking she did something wrong till she saw they were at the table. Giggling at how silly she was being she moved to slid in a chair across Temperance, her hand moving her hair out her face. Giggling a bit louder as she watch the waitress get waved off and a flash of fangs that were shown made her back straighten just not with fear.
Her eyes flashed as her aura started to raise it head but she quickly shoved it down. She would have to feed the Succubi soon or she will lose the little control that she had over it. "I hope not it would be bad if it followed me all the over over the puddle as one says here I think. Also this is my first time here in the states myself, Culture shock is going to happen. Its just a little rough around the edges like an uncut gem it just need to be polished I think but the again that is just my thoughts on the matter. The world is our oyster all we have to do is crack it open the right way and take a pearl." She replied back as she looked the older vampire in her face still showing no fear that one may think would be there.
Yes she did get the tingle in her stomach at times but it wasn't to bad to make her go running away or leak down right fear. Though she did wonder what it would be like to feel that fear aura from this woman but she would not push or make Temperance uncomfortable not if she could help it. She wouldn't lose the chance to have someone around her that wanted to be and was accepting of her.

OUTFITTemperance had to admit that she had flashed her fangs at the waitress that she wanted her to have that thrill of fear. She pulled it to herself, ate it down, and felt that temporary relief of her hunger. She should really feed the fear soon. It had been so long since she had a proper feeding that it was almost dangerous for her to be out, but the little drops she was getting here and there from those who were most susceptible to the fear aura were doing her okay. Or she hoped they were. Otherwise, she was a danger to everyone in the bar, including Ruslana. Looking at the other vampire, she truly hoped that the fear wasn't going to be a problem any time soon. She smiled at Ruslana. She had felt the fear, and smelled the lust from the waitress, obviously the opposite was true of her companion. They would indeed be a dangerous pair if they were to ever pool their power together. But Temperance couldn't do that again, wouldn't do that again. She wasn't going to lose herself to the power again. ”The Kiss I was with in London believed in keeping everything old school, like 1800's old school. We lived in the oldest buildings in London and worked at the oldest pubs. All these modern stuff is a little too much for me to still understand.” She nodded at the look on Ruslana's face, glad that she was making a somewhat friend here. She felt the flair of her aura as she looked around, feeling a spike in someone's fear and found the source from a lone girl in a corner. Taking a deep breath, Temperance pulled that fear into herself, more than pleased that she no longer had to be touching someone to feed. That had definitely been a chore for her. Turning her attention back to Ruslana, she smiled. ”If you don't mind me ask, love, where do you live in the city? I found an apartment quite near here and had it fixed up for vampire. I didn't really want to be too near the Kiss, if I could help it. I've had enough of being watched and studied.” She gave a shrug, smiling.

Ruslana took a breath as she listened to Temperance talk her eyes caught on the waitress again, her body was screaming to be touched. The smell was screaming at her making her aura flare as her eyes flared for a second. Taking a deep breath closing her eyes then she shook her heads, opening them back up and she looked at Temperance smiling as she regained herself . Sometimes it was too much for her to handle but she was getting better at it and that was all that mattered. One of these days she will be able to wield it like it was a blade and use it to help not her.
"So they made you live in the past as the world moved on around you? Did they not think that there are thing that could make it easier on them? A better way to get what one needs... What is wrong with most of us hiding in the shadows? Some kisses are so... " Trailing off killing her minor rant as she looked sheepishly down and then back at the vampire in front of her, she was talking bad about the kiss she was loathed to leave. Some times Ruslana never thought before she spoke and that is how she always got herself in trouble.
Reaching out to touch her hand as if to apologize about what she said, a small frown touched her lips. Hoping she didn't upset Temperance too much with her off handed comments. "Please for give me for my comments I didnt mean to offend if I did....I have a place in the apartments owned by the kiss but I also have a house in the city that I rather. Its set up for if Bella Morte herself ever wants to visit here so I must keep it up. I rather stay there honestly I and not one that likes to be watched to much either. So what do you think of the city so far that you seen?" Ruslana smiled and wrinkled her nose a bit. She honestly would turn and go back home if she could get away with it but nope she was stuck here. Well she will make the best of it and the fact that Temperance was here made it a little better one from home so to say.

OUTFITTemperance shrugged as they spoke about her old Kiss. She hadn't minded too much with everything that had gone on in the old Kiss. ”The Master wasn't thinking about stuff like that. I don't think he really cared. He was more about control and making sure that his vampires all relied on him for certain things. And it worked for him. Though, honestly, most of us were more than willing to take the punishment for disobeying him just to go out and see the real London.” She shrugged, knowing that she hadn't had the easiest life and that her old Master wasn't the smartest or most powerful, she could have easily taken him, but it was how she had seen things while she was with him. Besides, when she snuck out and he found out, he never punished her because she just made her that her fear aura was exceptionally strong around him. Temperance turned her hand over to give Ruslana's hand a squeeze. She smiled and shook her head. ”You didn't offend, love. I hated that place with a passion.” She listened to where Ruslana lived and gave a shrug. ”I found an apartment this side of town that has nothing to do with the Kiss and had it fixed up for me so that I won't get all crispy.” She thought about her little two bedroom apartment with the blacked out windows and extra thick curtains that looked like something out of the 1800's, mostly because they were. The antique furniture and Persian rugs, all things she had collected over the years in Europe. And it was all hers now. She wasn't leaving the place she was in now, no matter what. She shrugged when asked about the city. ”I'm liking it a little more than I thought I would. It's … different, but in a good way. I want to stay.” She let the smile play across her lips as she thought of Ramone. ”No, I have a few pretty good reasons to love Chicago. I plan on staying for a while. But then, that all depends on what happens when I meet with Sion.” She shrugged, not really sure how that was going to go. She had heard things, but she wasn't going to go back to London. Even if she had to be a rogue, she would do it. She was sure that she could hold her own in a fight. If those against her could get passed her aura at full force, maybe she deserved what they could do to her.

Ruslana looked at the older vampire and smiled her eyes heating up as she wrinkled her nose some. She was happy to hear she wanted to stay but she was worried about the woman if she decided to side with Sion in the up coming play of power. Hoping to get a better feel of her as time moved on since she felt that there was more to Temperance then meets the eye. Maybe she should open up a little more and see what she got in return, maybe she could turn the woman on to her side when all was said and done. It would be nice to see whats going to happen.
"Well I am glad I didnt offend you as I feared I may have, I alway have a habbit of opening mouth and inserting my foot...Some times I brain likes to forget that I am not human and can get hurt in ways that one could dream of. She said with laughterr in her voice it was not offten that she let faults out where others could see but it wasnt a big one and it was a test so to say. Ruslana felt that she ay be resptive but nothing was sure yet not until they met Sion. "Oh please feel free to call me Lana If you want my sister used to call me that a long time ago. It was a simple time back them, kinda missed the simple times, what about you?" As she spoke a soft far away look moved to her eyes, blinking quickly coming back into now. Smiling a little as she watched Temperance waiting to see what was going to play out.
This was going to be fun, she couldnt wait to see what the wind was going to blow her way. She was getting board with this city and this didnt work well for her, when she got board things seemed to get crazy. "I think this ctiy could have a lot to offer if we could find it depending on whats going on though..." She stated as her face told the other she was in hard thought her other hand played with the older vampires hand in hers. She was plotting even now wondering when the time was going to be right to strike the plate and put that false god out on his butt.

OUTFITTemperance had been honest with Ruslana. She wanted to stay in Chicago and have a home for once. But she also had a great many reservations about the city. The biggest one being Sion. She had yet to meet him, but she had heard the rumors when she had arrived in the States a few weeks back. She had traveled through other territories in order to hear what they were saying about her soon to be master, and from what she had heard, he wasn't strong enough to hold the city. She was afraid that she would meet him, and his power would pale compared to her own, leaving him with the only opinion that she was here to usurp him and take his seat. She had no such thoughts. No, she wasn't cruel enough to hold the seat as she knew that she should. At least, she wasn't now. A hundred years ago, she would have been able to hold it with cruelty without a second thought. She cleared her thoughts and turned back to Ruslana and the present, trying not to dwell on her own thoughts of how things could go wrong here. ”I am no easy to offend, and I was once very much like that, but that was one of the first things my sire made sure I lost. Now … now I have learned to think before I speak and pray the words don't get me into trouble.” She still had problems where she would think of something, deem that it was okay to say aloud, and it still bit her on the ass. But that was neither here nor there. She smiled and gave a nod. ”Lana it is then. And yes, I do miss the good old days. I don't miss being poor and begging on the streets, but I miss the little things. The gunpowder smell of the streets of Paris during the French Revolution. The bells of Notre Dame as the sun rose in the home I shared with my mother. Little things that can never be retrieved.” Yes, she missed Paris in the old days more than she wanted to admit. Temperance smiled as Ruslana began to play with her hand, giving her a nod. ”Yes, I have high hopes for my future here. Though ...” She shook his head, waving the hand that wasn't holding Ruslana's to clear what she was going to say. ”That doesn't matter. My own insecurities. I just hope that Sion allows me to stay, otherwise, he'll have a very angry rogue master Moroven to contend with.” And she would do it to. It was up to him. Either she stayed and was bound to him, fear aura and all, or she went rogue in his city and let the fear reign. She wouldn't do anything to get Ramone in trouble, but she would make Sion's life a living hell. She might do that anyway, depending on how he reacted to her.

"Well that is good your not easy to offend I seem to offend people even when I try not too it seem. I do miss the smell of the fresh due and fresh baked bread in the morning. The taste of a good cup of hot tea when one is stressed." Ruslana nodded as she remembered those times, her eyes sparkled licking her bottom lip as she took a breath. Some thing about this vampire even through the fear was nice and warm, Ruslana hoped that this was going to be a friend. She really needed a friend to have around even if she didn't talk to them about everything.
She was warned that this life could be lonely and only the strong survived and now she believed it and part of her wish she didnt take the dark life. It was hard for her at first to live like this but now it was second nature to her now. Hearing Temperance's words her ears perked up as she nodded, oh yes there is a foot hold let the fun began. Looking across from her as her eyes tried to lock on to the others, a smile touched her lips.
"So you would go rogue if you needed too? I wish I could at times when things need to be done but not being a master myself I have to depend on another to wake little ol' me.Some times I wish I could make life easier for our kind too. I doubt many can handle a Moroven Master even on there side let along rogue...But just think of the things you could do to help or hinder those who desiver it?" She sighed as she showed the truth in her eyes this could go two ways , one she would luck out the second one would get her killed or worst in Sions loving embrace. She was opening a door that could not be avoided, you either looked at it and ran or you walked through it.

OUTFITTemperance laughed, shaking her head. ”I have learned over the years that getting offended doesn't help in any situation. So why let what others say bother me?” She smiled and nodded as Lana spoke about what she missed about days passed. She sighed, trying to remember what those things smelled like. ”I don't remember what tea tastes like, but the smell of bread always holds memories for me of begging for my mother. Not sure if that's good or bad, but I do like the memories of my mother.” She felt comfortable around Lana like she hadn't felt with someone in a long time. Over a hundred and fifty years, actually. Nodding at Lana's question, she looked into the crowd. ”I am master enough that I could probably breathe on my own, though it might be difficult because I have never tried it before. I would like to find a master to bind myself to if for nothing but protection.” She thought about what Lana had said about and knew that two of the possibilities were death and acceptance. Those were the two extremes. So many things could happen between all that, but she was hoping that she got the acceptance. However, if she couldn't be bound to Sion because the rumors were true, if she made it through the day, she would do what she had to. Shaking her head, she smiled at Lana. ”I want to help in Chicago. I have an idea that I've wanted to do for many years, thanks to a friend of mine once suggesting it, and I would like to try it here. It could bring some money and attention to the Kiss. I just have to figure out the basics before I bring it to Sion.” She shrugged, not wanting to reveal too much about her business idea until she was sure that she could do it. Sure that it would be good for the Kiss before she spoke it allowed.
