Having just finished talking with Gates she closed her mental barriers nice and tight. Leaning against a large oak tree just outside the city limits she wondered how much attention she could get and how quickly. A small chuckle escaped her lips at the thought before she shrugged it off. Opening her eyes she looked out over the city that lay below.
'Oh this is going to be fun' she thought to herself before pushing off from the tree her black corset looking like it was dropped from another era but in reality she had bought it only the day prior as she passed through St. Louis. her black leather pants accenting her natural curves as her long waving dark hair fell gracefully around her shoulders and down her back. The line of porcelain skin showed from between the corset and low line of the pants like a teasing glimpse that would make the mind naturally wander.
As if opening a damn just a tiniest bit she leaked some of her immense power and pushed it out and towards the city. Knowing it wouldn't be long before someone sensed her knocking. Wither they be an underling or the person she really sought it mattered not. Because every supernatural her power brushed would know she was there and smell fresh roses and morning dew upon the air as if they had just a moment before breathed it.
Standing her thumbs hooked through two of the loops on her pants she stood still as a statue and waited. Waited for someone to come. She hadn't entered the territory so she couldn't be charged with trespassing so she wasn't at all worried about that but couldn't be any more exuberant about her little adventure.
'Ah the pleasures of visiting an old........'friend'.....it makes ones blood pump with a touch of excitement.'

There were certain times when things could be ignored and your goals would reach themselves. Others when just the right nudge could change the outcome of everything. Andrius had taken to examining the complexities and interconnections of the circle that each life inhabited together singly. He first notice the pattern easily seven-eight hundred years ago. He'd been quietly experimenting with the philosophy.
It was as if Antoinette's presence was but a further validation of the theory. Sparing no time he fell away into the shadow of the world. Rising not more than three feet from her.
"I pray you come baring gifts." He said stepping close enough that her breath and his mixed in the space between them.
"It has been a long while since you and I have laid eyes upon one another..."

"Is the sight of a friend from ages long past forgotten enough of a gift to satisfy one such as yourself." she spoke her eyes locked with the man that with but a deep breath would cause them to touch. Her voice quiet and seductive like a lovers whisper. More of a flirtatious whisper without promise of more.
She had a seductive smile as she reached out with a soft petite hand and ran a finger from his shoulder to his wrist before giving a bright smile and saying, "But if not..." she trailed before looking up into the tree they stood under and gave a high short whistle in two bursts and held out her arm. Within seconds a large dark shape came swooping out of the trees circled once before landing upon her outstretched arm. Bending at the elbow she brought the magnificent bird to her.
"His name is Merlin" she said reaching up with her other hand and stroked the feathers on top of his head. The texture indescribable to any who had not felt it before. Merlin gave a contented sound and turned his head to gave at Andrius giving him a curious look. "He is a gifted hunter." she said praising the large Red-tailed Hawk who ruffled his feathers looking smug.

Andrius had not seen the ancient vampire since times long forgotten. he was no ones fool last he'd witnessed she was yet the courtier of the council carrying their word near and far. Sadly they could not move against him as he didn't officially exist, Katrina did. It would be interesting to see how they would mount their conquest without provocation.
"If I were the sort to accept costly gifts then yes. Yes it would be. What brings my dear?"
Listening to her whistle Andrius eyes went to the motion above them. Even as it was darkest night he could see the majestic span of the hawk. He would yet grow larger a bit. A hawk. She brought him a hawk. He watched the bird falcon with hungry eyes.
He always had a place for animals. She remembered. His curiosity was stroked by the gesture. "Merlin you say. Interesting. Indeed." His voice not betraying the mirth that crossed him. He took in the sight of the bird noting from its colorations across its cere, eyes, and tail that it was a passage bird and had not reached its full mature size. He was right. Merlin still had another ten to thirty percent of his growing to do.
"Well let us enter into the city proper and discuss things."

"I'm sure you've noticed he still has yet many moons still to grow but I thought you would enjoy him. For I seem to remember your passion for animals and I didn't think a fresian horse would have any place in the Windy City so I bring you Merlin." she said stroking the glorious raptor her accent barely noticeable, as he sat obediently upon her bare arm the tips of his talons lightly piercing her flesh drawing minuscule drops of blood. It bothered her not even with the knowledge from millenia's past from others tellings that her blood even as a vampire held an arousingly sweet aroma that tempted one to taste.
"Lets" she said giving the other vampire a small nod as she ventured to walk beside him. She would hold off on discussing her intentions until the old fount had led her to someplace more private. In the meantime with her movement the falcon's talons dug in deeper for stability drawing a bit more blood and yet it still did not phase her.

Andrius noticed the pricks of the falcons talons tattooing their passage across Antoinettes flesh. It was the price of not having the falconers glove. Not that one as ancient as they would have direct need of such accoutrement. Andrius' mind worked at a lightening pace sorting through what he knew and what he surmised.
The falcon would need a place to alight as they spoke as such he led her to one of his many secreted homes around the city and its outlying suburbs. He as usual had fed early yet he could tell that Antoinette was playing on his previous manner of never turning down sustenance. It had been sometime time since he was that wild running monkey. Nonetheless there was a certain allure to the blood of ancients.
For any unprepared for the rush it could open one to the seductive powers of the holder of such. It was a ploy he'd used often enough to know the false intimacy of such. He would wager a good deal to see if they were of the same cloth once he'd divined Antoinettes reason for being here. Opening the door with the biometric scan he held it aloft for Nannette and Merlin to enter.
The furniture was still covered so he left it that way "Make yourself comfortable we have much to discuss." THere were enough perches for Merlin he feared not for the birds safety; Yet his eyes tracked the bird with the persistence of a child. She was definitely attempting to sway him. Whether he was right or not she had remembered his love of animals.
